Post subject:  30 days challenge

Hi everyone, I'm leon and I'm 26 years of age. I'm starting my journal to hold myself accountable for the next 30 days. This journal has nothing to do with picking up girls for the next 30 days.
I consider myself as one of the most laziest person on earth. I'm dead broke, live with my parents, no job, no life and unfit. I literally wake up, play video game, eat and then go back to sleep. I also fight with depression from time to time and masturbate once or twice a week.
I recently completed a service compulsory for all graduate below the age of 30 in my country(you would be transferred to another state).I lived with a girl in the same house for the remainder of the service period(2 months). For the first time in my life I got constant sex(ever thought it sucked for her) and also got several admirers but didn't act because I caught oneitis.
With the little money I got from my parent, it was almost impossible taking care of myself and doing anything good for her.
After completing the service, I had to return to my parents house. I don't get sex any longer so I masturbate daily( which causes depression for me). I really need to get a place of mine and also be able to feedmyself.
I have deceived to work on myself starting with my finance
I am joining fiverr.
I going to do all my reading and research at night(12:30am-5am) to avoid distraction.
No porn or Masturbation starting from tomorrow.
20(push up, sit up and squatting) everyday.
10minute of memory training and
Speaking positively to myself hourly.
I hope this journal keeps me motivated.
Any input would be appreciated.

Good on you for taking action. I'm kinda like you tho not as bad. I'm 23 still living with my parents. I have a casual job at least but not a decent one. I will soon move to a bigger city and live on my own. It will give me the chance live independently and work on my game. Where are you from by the way?

So I accomplished everything on my to do list. I finished on time so I had surplus amount of time to think about my 1itis which caused depression. I think I would have to add more things to do on my to do list.
I also had to fight the urge to masturbate but at the ending I over came.
Opened a new account on fiverr, created a gig(transcription) and published it.

I was going to say that your list seems like it's a bit optimistic. It seems that you are making a giant change very abruptly which could be damaging if you fail. You say you completed everything on the list though so congrats man. You're making the right steps toward becoming a better person. I respect you for that.

I'm currently on day 15 of no masturbation myself. I usually do it pretty frequently like almost every day. It was way harder to resist in the first week than in the second week. I feel pretty good now though. My reason for stopping is because I have heard that it makes you more motivated which I want to be. Although to be honest I don't really feel any more motivated than I did while I was masturbating lmao. Oh well. I'm going to continue until I get to have sex. That will happen in 2 weeks when my girlfriend returns from her trip overseas.

Best of luck.

Cheers brother.

Hi, u were right. The list was much and I got overwhelmed by the list. It lead to depression for a few days. Then I came across a book "mini habit".
It changed the way I think. Instead of trying to do everything in large proportion, why don't I do it little by little and build a habit!
It has really been helpful. This is the 1st time I have been consistent in a while.

OK, so today I found out something interesting about myself. I was able to stay awake through out the day, which is very rear for me. I think I was able to achieve that because I slept from 7-10am in the morning.
I have been following my new to do list religiously. I had to cut down on the number of task from the previous list.
So I have been looking for a new source of income. I joined fiverr. Haven gotten any job at all for 3 weeks now. Thinking of buying reviews.
Also been exercising daily. Haven't missed a day.
Couldn't keep off from porn an Masturbation. That Shit is hard to avoid.
I have been reading and also training my memory.
I just hope I'm able to start selling on fiverr. The sooner I start earning the sooner I would b able to leave my parents place.
Peace out

Making money ain't easy. Been on fiverr for some few weeks. I actually thought it would be a smooth ride but I was wrong. Going to hang on for sometime and see the result after 2-3 months.
Completed all the task on my to do list.
