Back home i would say i was a go getter about everything. I was the type of person that always had to be doing something and stay busy. It took me a while to get there but i noticed it had a lot to do with the people i surrounded myself with. I would work 2 jobs all day and get out around 12-1am. Usually my friends were sleeping at this time so i would go do stuff alone, sleep a little and do it again. On my free days i would take a walk around and just talk to people. Just the enviorment i was in was very positive and the people i surrounded myself with were into bettering themselves and bettering each other. We would sit around and have educated talks on things like 'what makes a real man', 'how men and women's logic differ', and a lot of what if scenarios that made us think critically. But now the enviorment im in is very negative. Cant really find truly positive people, no one wants to better themselves, and most people would destroy your friendship in a second just to have a one night stand. Every now and then i feel those vibes. When i meet up with other people it kinda dies. Any tips on how to keep and maintain that go getter, confident mindset? |

They say that we are the average of the five people we hang around the most. So if you are aware of your current social circle having a negative impact on you, try to distance yourself from them and find new friends that will lift you up and motivate you. I hate energy vampires. |

I'm in a similar stage, where the go-getter mindset has taken a bump on the road. I would literally say change your environment. Either move to a new city, or set a new big goal for yourself. If you have something that inspires you, soon you will attract people who are inspired themselves. Like attracts like. |
