blah blah blah, dont take my word for it. Try it yourself and post results after a month. If you aren't atleast slightly more toned then you're not doing it right. I find that I fill out my t-shirts nicely now and it no longer looks like i'm a flagpole.

I dont do the dead lifts because they hurt my back, I also don't believe that you NEED to have an extreme diet. Just cut out on the junk food when you can and eat healthy food when you can (If you don't know anything about this then read up on it).
As a skinny person you want to be adding food to what you are eating though, so what I will normally do is add 2 slices of bread, throw some cheese ontop or something similar. Don't be lazy, eat when you are hungry. And follow the damn work out.
