How old were you when you moved out of your parents? I hate to do it but I think it's time.. Personal reasons, terrible family life and I think I need to move out.. I'm really nervous about it though. I only have 10 grand saved up, only make 12.70 at my job, I have no schooling (outside of a HS diploma), and no credit. The thought of moving out scares the shit out of me. My days of carefree living and spending will be at an end and will most likely never return.. Going to the strip club ever again would be out of the question as well.. Which is a big deal for me too.. All advice and tips would be appreciated.. How old were you when you moved out of your parents and what are things that helped you get through to a place of stability and contentment?

You really have to have a good job nowadays to be able to live comfortably. Not sure you can do that on 12 dollars/hr. Depends where you live. I am even tempted to move in with my parents to save more money.

The military is a good option because it will get you out of your parent's house. I'd recommend going to college first though. I am very comfortable now but I've been on my own for 6 yrs.

If I were you I'd try to get a degree or tech training in something in science. That way you have a great stepping stone.

It really is simple. Live below your means.

If you are on $1000 per month wage and your expenses are $1100 then it isn't viable. You can either find a way to get more money or find a way reduce expenses like having a room mate to split the expenses with so its sustainable.

This is basic financial common sense but majority of people never understand and just get themselves into debt.

I moved out when I was 23. But that was the time I started to focus on this goal of getting good with the ladies

Do not get crap on finance like lush cars and mortgages at this moment in time. Also, strippers are just an expensive tease. A wank to porn is more validating. Please, hope you've learned got lesson with this?

There is also the option to work on your business in your spare time. But requires a lot of time and some money to risk. But is very rewarding.

Yes, I have learned my lesson on the strip club, it's basically what has gotten me in this mess. If I hadn't wasted so much at the club I could easily have another 8,000$ saved up smh. Looking back I'm extremely regretful over being so wasteful.. It's been two months since the last time I've gone, and while I still think about her every ten minutes I'm not allowing myself to ever return.

I moved out this year. I'm 25 i did not had to move out, but i was paying rent with my family. and also i couldn't bring different chicks around.[family you know..] i was unemployed, i only had 3K saved up.

i signed up a contract for a year with 3 other roommates, [close friends w/ similar lifestyles]

i know what i was getting into, and this is like one of those things that you can apply in game
and its to burn the boats and go for all

unemployed i started applying everywhere.

with expenses i had to cut down on things i did not need
alcohol:[started gaming w/o alcohol big improvement]
cigarettes:[just not worth it]
eating out constantly:[learn to cook at home and healthier]

i had a remaining of 2K saved up it was crucial, it like one of those situations that fuck with you, but you know you will live regardless. that we find a solution when we are in that mode [hustler mode]

anyway. its a long story i don't think you want to hear the rest but you get the point.
if moving out its really important to you, you will make it happen

I was 18 when I left for uni, and apart from a summer when I was unemployed right after uni have had my own flat ever since (25 now). Can't tell you what it has done for my game, as soon as I get a girl back here it's usually a done deal. Like seriously, only a 10% strike out rate. Max.

As said though, the difference between me and some of my friends is attitude to finance; I think of myself as me PLC. Figure out your max income per month, and your min expenditure, then your min income and max expenditure. Somewhere in your middle is your budget. I'd advise being brutally honest with yourself; I live walking distance from the city centre, 2 mins from a train station, and there is no parking at my job, so I got rid of my car to save money. I shop at a discount super market, and don't buy loads of snacks or Coke or whatever. Must save about £30 a week. Save up 2-3 months rent and get started tomorrow dude.

To reiterate, it'll help your game massively and it's a realistic target for you too.

Get yourself established as much as you can in terms of a good education before trying to move out. Use living at home to your advantage. You are never to late to start building a decent resume so you can build a great lifestyle. That's regardless of dating women.

If the college route isn't for you. You must find a trade or get some form of training that can set you apart from the basic retail crowd. It's just not the best way to go down today.

As a general guideline... I would say 30-33 is really the latest today you would want to be at home. It's just not good mentally to be stuck in the past.

Moving out is a pretty big thing in all honesty, I wouldn't base my decision on how many chicks I can fuck, even then from what I've experienced/seen they're more keen to go back to their place. If you do move out make sure you're ready to leave permanently. I left home at 19/20 and had to move back and it was a little annoying with the lack of independence, whereas if you wait before leaving you won't know anything other, so it won't be as problematic. That said, it's best to have left before your late twenties.

I'm surprised anyone over the age of 18/19 goes to strip clubs. The first time you go it's pretty novel as it's the first time you'll have seen a hot girl naked, especially if they're shoving their tits, arse and twat in your face. After you've been more than a few times, you just get an awkward stiffy and a mad case of blue balls. Personally, I wouldn't bother.

17. The day after HS ended I woke to find all of my belongings packed conveniently in my car. I took that as a hint.
