I tend to work quite structured with my personal development, following up in my journal. I have a few overall goals that I try to break into daily or weekly habits. Currently I’m focusing on my social skills. It’s harder to set goals for social skills than working out, eating well or work related goals.

Do you have any suggestions for good social goals/habits. I’ll share some of mine and once I found here on the forum:

- Get rejected once every day link removed
- Eye contact, smile and say hi to every girl you pass on the street.
- Small-talk at least once every day with a stranger.
- Practice good listening: eye contact, presence, open follow-up questions. Rate your performance every day.
- Try to make X new friends, that you meet at least once every two weeks. (need to be broken down into actions).
- Go on one new date per week.

What are your social goals / habits?

I’d like to work on cultivating my empathy and finding ways to create value for others (friends). If you have any literature on the subject I’d greatly appreciate it.
