I had the drink in the past, but I had difficulties to have a kino.
If you are seated at the table it is hard to touch her, especially if you are one in front of the other (I always try to be close to her rather than in front of her, but sometime it is not possible)
But if you say take a drink before and then go for a walk, then I trust of you.
Bar seating is the shit because the bartender can sometimes be a buffer and after a few drinks the bar stools become vehicles for sloppier kino and flirting. And if your date is starting to suck you have the bartender to help you wing your way back to the top [tip them].
While the gentleman gave very informative advice, I however, have the same problem. Not very good with keno and sitting face to face in a table.
For the keno problem, with this problem I went to the ends of the earth to find the answer and I kept hearing 'it is all situational'. However, I would like to refer you to 'Vin Dicarlo escalation ladder'. It is free online 16 page ebook. Very good to check out. This is the best advice the internet has for the keno problem. Simple practical advice. Here is a link for the book. It is in a slide form, who cares, right?

As for the facing each other between a table, I would sit in the bar. I would go a step further and tell her 'you want the bar because you want to catch last night's game. This could be very effective, keep your upper torso straight when you talk to her, do not twist it toward her. Doing so will display that you are not very grateful that she found a little time to hangout with you. And it will reduce the your and her anxiety because it is less of a date.
I hope I was of good use, all the best.
