| I just can't figure out how they work out that Mystery is a great pick up artist! He's not cute at all, and I'm so confused by his feathery pimp hat, black fingernails, and chin piercing! How is it possible that women like him? I guess he could be a good guy, but any guy that writes self-help books on the art of picking up women doesn't seem good to me. I think it's really depressing that not one of the contestants on the show noticed that Mystery is a weirdo! Those poor guys need some self-esteem courses, not..whatever they're getting. Telling stories to little girls and kissing peaches? Ummm.... .... .... |

Self-esteem courses seem like 100% bullshit to me. I don't need some dude with a headset and a spray-on tan telling me to visualize my goals and "be happy with the inner me" to improve my life.
Mystery's techniques work, regardless of how he is portrayed in a relatively mainstream television show. In fact, he probably is only one of several people who decide what the content of the show is -- the whole kid thing may have not even been his idea.
As I said in a reply to one of your other posts, the PUA community is driving a men's self-improvement movement. We encourage eachother to improve ourselves in many aspects of our lives. Surely you can't claim that being more confident, more healthy, in better shape, better dressed, more ambitious, better educated, more charismatic, and more socially aware are all positive changes that any person can make (male or female).
The lines, routines, etc... are simply a vehicle by which we can convey our personalities without getting shot down. |

It is amusing to see you speak so broadly on this subject when the striking reality of the matter is that your clueless on the subject, there in, making yourself look ignorant and unintelligent. You come rushing in here posting non-nonsensical bullshit that isn't helping clarify or elaborate on any point. Perhaps other than the fact that you obviously have your mind made up about everyone on here and are doing little to debate your stance on the subject.
I'm guessing you've seen all of maybe...3 episodes of the dumb reality television show, which in no way reflects the teachings or questions of 50% of the guys on here. Besides the fact that your taking most, if not all, of your information from a reality T.V. show frightens me. If you had half of a brain up in that peanut head of yours, you'd do a little bit of research and realize that this forum is not all about the "routines and lines". I can't remember the last time I "ran a routine" on some girls, in fact, I'm not sure if I ever have. And even if I did, your still yet to tell us why this is a bad thing. All I'm saying, is before you annoy the fuck out of me anymore, please do a little bit of research. Mystery is not the only person out there doing this stuff, yes he is a sell-out who is making plenty of money creating a stupid T.V. show that has obviously caught your attention. But there is much more to this than what has met your eye. I for one am nothing like Mystery, nor would I ever have his style, however I don't think he's a weirdo just because he paints his nails and has a chin piercing. What kind of logic is that? |

Well girls like him for several reason. He's tall, he sorta looks like a pale Johnny Depp, and.. he's mysterious, girls want to figure him out! He dresses weird for attention, but that just enhances his personality. It works for him. Have you seen the clip of him at the bar, some girl touches his goggles, and he's like "now now young lady, I don't allow any of that" or something. It's perfect. |
