Right, I didn't get to fit the whole title into the subject box, but basically I am interested to hear how you guys seduce on longer term sarges (ie anything over a ons).
One of the books I have been reading recently has been helping me a lot. Its called 'the art of seduction' by Robert Greene. Now I am quite new to the game so I have no idea how many people will be familiar with this. Having read most of it I find that it is like a more detailed version of Magic Bullets. Ok, maybe I should say Magic Bullets is a distilled and more easily digestible version, but generally they cover a lot of the same points.
Anyway, I have personally found the style of the book quite helpful and I have been trying to use some of the techniques. I am currently trying to decide which approach to take with a girl I have just met. She was bullied when she was small and she now compensates for that by being completely likeable and getting on with everyone. I absolutely salute her for this, she has loads of friends, and all treat her with a lot of warmth and respect. From the way she speaks however her previous bfs don't.
I have been trying to decide whether to smother this girl with seemingly unconditional love or whether to play it cold and make her really earn my affection. If I give her unconditional love I will be doing what most other people meet her do, however if I can create a safe and loving environment for the two of us I also have a big rug to pull out from underneath her when I need too. On the other hand, if I blow hot and cold I can stand out from the crowd, I will also stir up her desire to be liked and to please and this would make her more maliable.
I would be interested to hear if anyone else has read 'The Art of Seduction' and what they thought of it. I'd also love to know if they have found any of the theories from the book to be particularly useful. |

| I'd say go cold...cat and string theory.Yes,she is friendly.But i think it's to much of the danger to fall into the friends trap.And you don't want to be friends.Just keep it smooth and don't overdo because it might bring her some similarities with the past.Moreover,the fact that she's trying to be friendly with everyone says she is a bit insecure inside.As if scared of bad relationships. |

| Wooh. It's a bad bad bad thing if you even think of giving her unconditional love. Since all her past bfs don't treat her well, what makes you think she'll be with you if you treat her nice? Do you get what I am trying to say here? Don't treat her well until you totally own her. Period. |

all of this seems good advice..... but, you should also establish what you want from this girl. do you want a longer term relationship, or just a fun fling?
Don't ever lose perspective: the game is for picking up, and NOT for finding a girlfriend. |

With this girl i would be happy with a longer term relationship. Maybe a summer thing (a couple of months).
With regards to the smothering with love thing. I thought that was a bit strange too. It was in the book and actually I can see the advantages but I am guessing it is more for the girls with low self-esteem and HB--- status. I can see it working on longer running seductions. So long as you withdraw it when you don't get your own way. In fact it could be incredibly powerful then. (Possibly?) |
