Shit test are only "shit test" when you give two shits about what they think. When you frame it as "trying to pass a test" you put yourself in the mental position to say whatever you believe the "right answer" is. Not only is that dishonest, but its giving another person way too much power over you.

Lets say She ask you about your longer relationship, answer her that it was 20 years or 2 minutes
or any other bullshit and just smile.

Just don't take the question seriously. I personally don't think its a good strategy ever - not because of the specific question that we're talking about here, but because its essentially a test. My girlfriend right now has thrown this question on me a couple times and I respond to it always in a way that amuses myself.

Real conversation in a taxi, but not verbatim:

HER: So, how many girlfriends have you had?
ME: I don't know I don't keep count of these things
HER: No seriously, how many.... 7? <checks for my facial reaction>.... 2? <checks again> ..... 10? <checks again>
ME: You know I'm a poker player ... I can do this all day; you aren't going to see anything <sly grin>

Later, while walking outside ...

HER: Come on, just tell me how many
ME: <Feign real honesty, like I'm leveling with her> Alright... honestly............. you're the 92nd
HER: <Stamping feet like a 12 year old girl> UGH COME ON!!!

For me the key is to just mess with her mind for my own fun, which transfers over to her. She's frustrated, but in a positive and memorable way, and it maintains the mystery about myself. It also displays that I'm comfortable with myself on this subject because I didn't feel the need to answer it. Answering it always comes off like you are approval-seeking, so by not answering it, you either convey (A) it's a lot of women, or (B) you just don't care what she thinks. Either way you win. [Edit: And don't worry what the friends say. Even if its zero, and they tell her zero, you've already displayed that you are secure and comfortable on this so the objective truth will not matter to her]

Last note, as I said my girlfriend has asked this more than once. Now I will just say "Are we on this subject again?" and that basically kills it. It's a nice line girls like to use and its great at killing a question immediately without sounding butthurt or annoyed. It basically communicates "come on, stop being insecure and let's talk about something fun".
