That is a good video, kelso was one of my favorites.

I have another good one that really works when I seek motivation:

what is the advice?

Am I missing something?

It says "this is the best advice" and then it just says "it's from scrubs"

Have no idea what you're referring to, please clarify.

Thanks

The tech guy recently added a code to the site to automatically disable and delete HTML in posts in order to battle an onslaught of spambots we had, so if a thread here used Youtube's HTML embedding code, it has been unfortunately compromised. Threads that used the
Code:
[youtube][/youtube]
code with the direct Youtube URL in between are safe.

Since we lost the video from this thread, can anybody help us find this video on Youtube again??

The transcript from the scene goes:
Quote:
Miss Goldman: What now, Grampa?!

Dr. Kelso: You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change, because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out with the surgery because you're scared. You're scared because if you try and fail, there's only you to blame. Well, Missy, let me break this down for you, Bobbo-style. Life is scary. Get used to it.

J.D.'s Narration: And then it seemed like Dr. Kelso wasn't only talking to her.

Dr. Kelso: There are no magical fixes. It's all up to you. So get up off your keister, get out of here, and go start doin' the work.

**[Howie Day's "Collide" beings]**

Miss Goldman: What if it's too hard?

Turk: [leaning down to face Dr. Kelso next to Miss Goldman] Yeah, what if it's too hard?

Dr. Kelso: Turkleton, I have no idea why you're chiming in, but I'll say this to both of you. Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy.

EDIT: I found the video and edited the original post to put it back in.

Truly inspirational for me, especially:

"You want to take the easy way out because you're scared. And you're scared because if you try and fail, there's only you to blame."

"There are no magical fixes, so get up off your feet and go do some work."

It's nice to see how people have made a revelation and a breakthrough of understanding of their attitudes and perspectives. I learned this lesson so long ago I wouldn't remember. It's kinda cool how the different mediums and reinforcements of life's knowledge eventually comes smacking home with a fistful of epiphany.

fyi - Scubs is shitass funny :D!
