Okay so there is a famous theory about how we express our love and everyone falls into one of 5 categories 1. Touch 2. Affirmation 3. Acts of service 4. Quality time 5. Gift giving
If we can somehow work out someone's love language we can use this to our advantage say for example someone responds well to touch then kino escalation would be far more effective and touching as a boyfriend would, would be perfect it's just this idea I've had recently as this group seems mostly psychology based i figured something like this might actually be useful. This theory is absolutely in its genesis and I'd love constructive feed back on how to build this up thanks guys let me know what you think and how I could build this theory

For a famous theory I have never heard of it. Looks silly.

That's old AFC advice by Gary Chapman who has a doctorate in Philosophy. He sold 10 million copies of his book based on his experience with ONE woman.

As you said everyone falls into one of the five categories. Its your duty to know which category one falls into. :)

As you notice in my previous response this is more geared to marriage/long term mono relationship management..... This may not work good to initial pick up stages unless you get the girl to open up and find out what she responds too... So if you are interested in how to apply this to pick up, you may have to first get her to open up... I read the book and to be honest i have not used as initial pick up, so i would stick to the other techniques...I have used this book in ltr...

Before Chapman published the first series of the book in 1992, his job was a pastor at the Baptist Church. After he had a bestseller, he started to travel the world presenting seminars on marriage, family, and relationships.

He was not a professional marriage counselor before he had his bestseller. Technically, the idea behind the book was based on one woman. The following series of the book though already have basis on his presentations and seminars. It's pure bandwagon effect by a well written piece of work. It's efficacy though as a relationship troubleshooter or enhancer remains annecdotal until an air-tight scientific study on it is conducted by reputable researchers to validate its efficacy.

Unlike orgasmic frequency which has been scientifically studied several times by different researchers to correlate with high relationship satisfaction, the non-anecdotal effectiveness of Chapman's Five Love Languages still hangs on thin air.

I agree with you though that the book is not fit for pick up for the well thought out reason you provided.

If the author is kj or not, who knows. But i will tell you that it does have merit, even if you think about yourself there are some things you respond more than others... For example i respond well to act of service, to do not care much about too much touching etc... my new girl respond well to touch etc...
^ knowing this silliness goes far in ltr believe it or not...
