Well, I have a new job and one of the plusses is that I will only be working 3 days a week.

Each semester, I will taking one course online, from a highly ranked school (one of the top 15 in the nation), which will be extremely challenging -- calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, economics, etc.

But, aside from the class, I have 4 days off, every week.

I want to use all of my free time to improve my social skills, my social network, and my social life.

Things I already do with my extra spare time:

* Newbie missions.
* Go out to bars with friends.
* Do my studying/reading/internet at med school library (hoping to run into a smart girl, with a similar education)
* Train hard at the gym with my male friends
* Play poker - good for bonding with guy friends, learning to appear confident ("bluffing"), learn body language, think and act disciplined. ALSO, gives me an excuse to plan a trip to Vegas :), world's greatest PUA playing field.
* Pay close attention to my wardrobe and shop for clothes.
* Practice photography - I photograph friends, and landscapes. If I can build my portfolio I may be able to arrange some shoots with women I meet. Women really like the landscape photos I take.

So here's my question:

Here are some choices of things I am considering doing with my spare time, in order to build my social life and meet more women:

* Volunteering someplace with a lot of attractive women who go out together after work. quitting as often as i want, moving from gig to gig until i hit paydirt.

* taking a low-paying job 2 days/week someplace with a lot of easy girls. same thing about going out after work, quitting as often as i want

* Renting a studio space, setting up a drumkit, and joining a band. I played drums when I was younger and was very, very good. It was easy to join a band because bands are always looking for drummers. When I did this, there were always girls who were friends with the band who came to the shows. The same circle of friends had parties on the weekends. It was easy to hook up with the girls at these parties.

* Learning to cook.

* Doing Yoga: Hi female-to-male ratio. Improves posture and flexibility.

* Writing - this would actually be pretty isolating, but I'm told I write beautifully...

* Taking an art class... I'm already interested in photographing women... There are some classes on drawing women at the local art museum.

Out of all of these things, I'm thinking that the drumming in a band option is the best. This worked in the past, I think it would work again. I've mentioned that I'm in my 30's ... It seems like playing in a band is the best way to be around younger women and even if you're older it doesn't matter... I also enjoy it and am good at it. I can quit anytime I want and move from band to band, as I get better, and the female friends start looking better. I work contract jobs now, so I could even tour, if I needed to.

What am I missing? What would you do, if you had actual time to work in some area that I haven't mentioned?

Enrol for a second course in college where there's a lot of girls. Choose a course that will enhance your current career. I have a college buddy who specializes as an ICT lawyer. Here are some ideas:

- Chartered Financial Analyst + Corporate Law = Merger and LBO Specialist
- Marketing Psychology + Hotel and Restaurant Management = Hooters Global Franchise Marketing Specialist
- Health Care Facilities Engineering or Hospital Architecture = Nurses' Vaginal Architecture Consultant or Health Care Coitus Engineer

You don't need to be involved in events that involve women. Women are everywhere in the world. You can find more than enough to fill your requirements just being out in the world. I'd spend the free time engaging women and chilling with them. We only go around once. You love women. Why the fuck not. On the other hand if you have a certain goal or mission in life then pursue that too.

Actually I've heard that social psychology is good for just about any career. Also teaches you the way people behave the way they do. You could argue that social psychology is the larger branch of psychology of which PUA is just a small part.

I know a lot of women are in those psych courses. There's usually some kind of group discussion for the social science courses.

This may be worth planning ahead, on, though. College courses are expensive. May want to find a way to get a tuition stipend.

Sounds like you have things going for you already. Are you sure you're committing to your already set schedule ? When was the last time you did photography ?

Btw, cooking should be in your agenda. You save a lot of money by not eating out. Like a lot.

Yeah .. I need to get back to the photography... some skank who flipped out on me and refused to let me take her photos was texting me a few weeks later apologizing saying she wanted to see my photos and pose for me and shit... honestly, she's on drugs, though, and probably just wants me to give her a ride someplace so she can sell her kids' clothes for drug money... still it was a nice affirmation and felt very good...

Also, cooking .... yes... thanks... I needed a reminder on this .... I am paying like $10-$15 each day on take-out but at the same time I'm too cheap to invest in kitchen utensils... talk about pennywise and pound foolish!!... I suck at it... Every time I try to boil something it boils over, but if I have been able to learn everything I've learned so far, I can probably get a handle on this... Any books, videos, or recipes you think I should start with?

I don't have time for another college course .... This one course I'm taking is like 4-years of college-level math rolled into one semester...

There is this local club that teaches IT skills like programming and web design to girls....

My buddy's girlfriend did it and pretty soon he was subcontracting some of his work to her.... She traveled across the country to set up some data for him.... His girlfriend is kind of a cutie, too...

I'm thinking of checking this club out, since I have an IT background, and finally, for once, my nerdery would be a DHV ....

As for cooking, get a slow cooker. Something like a Crock-Pot or similar brand. This will save you time. If you're making $27 per hour, spending 2 hours each day cooking your meals don't make sense if you want to save $10 - $15 per meal. Cook meals by the bulk and reheat when you take a meal.

Personally, I cook 3-5 different meals by the bulk and reheat as needed. I only cook oat meals fresh as these have a very short preparation and cooking time of 3-5 minutes tops. I reheat the fish and meat meals that go along with the oat meal.

For example:

Meal 1: Beef stew
Meal 2: Salmon belly tamarind stew
Meal 3: Chicken-pork adobo

You can cook 1 bulk meal per day on your slow cooker and reheat the meals as needed. Sandwich meals also make sense when you want to save time. Meat loaf, pulled pork, tuna spreads and so on can be cooked by the bulk and spread on your sandwich as needed. Add fresh vegetables and fruits and you're good.

You can ask your girls to cook meals for you that take longer preparation and cooking time that are not possible on the slow cooker such as meat loaves and pulled pork.

Just youtube simple recipes you can do on your own. Nothing extravagant here. I have been doing that for the past month and my cooking skills have been going up and my bank account has been a bit more filled with extra money. Definitely cook for more than one meal since time will always be a thing which will make you buy take out. I recommend you get one of those containers which come in a pack of six so you can prepare six meals or whatever.

Go to walmart or some discount store and get cheap kitchen stuff. In the long run they will save you money. Think long term here and you will see months later the difference in your spending + learning some recipes so you gain a bit more confidence in the kitchen.

Thanks guys.

And thanks for the +1 on the slow cooker. Another person I was just talking to recommended it earlier tonight.

Gonna go for it.
