What are the other ways one can respond to it ?

Being humble and even self deprecation in my experience is way more beneficial than the typical cocky PUA responses


For example, i got a girl's number from Tinder:


Girl: ha you're so charming

Cocky PUA: You're the 4th girl to tell me this in 2 hours


Girl: ha you're so charming

Me: Not really, maybe in real life I am just shy, look at the floor and reply with one word answers

I just respond to that with a winky face or a kissy face depending on the situation.

Her telling you, you're smooth is a compliment. Accept it and keep gaming with your smooth lines and its only a matter of time until she is like playdoh in your hands

What has worked to further progress it has been to say something like,

"You know laughing at my jokes is the first step to getting yourself a first hangout."

Rather than date, but it rewards the positive behavior, and progresses it towards setting up a meetup.

You can continue on another thread and ignore what she said. Go into a story, make an observation,present another tangent and see if she complies or builds on it.
Could say with a smile "thanks for the compliment" and then continue, maybe even compliment,SOI, then release with a transition going into another thread as I've above in my post. Compliment her for complimenting you with a little framing in the mix. If she was sarcastic just agree tell her that she gives you a little credit for trying then blow it off and start a new thread or conversation
