Hey whats up guys?

So in another post I did make A mention about the mens health and fitness diet! I bought the book at barnes and nobles not to long ago and I just wanted to report success!

What the book teaches you is this:

Abs are made in the kitchen!


Which is quite true, because I have done some experiments and if I do not exercise, but I am eating right, then I am still losing weight! But of course many people know this already! But what used to happen to me was...I used to just diet, but I did not throw it any weight training!

And as A result I lost both weight AND muscle and it looked really bad!


Some things I wanted to share with you guys that are working for me are:

- Work out with weights at LEAST 3 Times A week 30 mins per session!
- The most minimum you have to work out with weights is 2 times A week!
- Shift the majority of your calorie intake to breakfast!
- Always remember to add protein with every meal and snack you eat!


My Diet As of Current:

Morning:
Steel Cut SPAM
1 Glass of Milk
1 Glass of Protein Powder MIXED WITH WATER

Snack
Peanuts
Fruits
Veggies
Boiled Eggs
Water


Lunch
Salad w/ Chicken
Fish with rice
Water

Dinner
Salad w/ Chicken
Rice w/ Chicken
Water



I have been doing this for A couple of months now and have been losing weight FAST! Take in consideration I am only 19 though, but if this diet and exercise works for me, I do not understand why it wouldn't work for others!
Now I am not saying that you will have GUARANTEED success in what I am doing!

I mean lets face it...everyone is different...but just the basic facts about dieting and exercise itself is enough to build upon!

You mentioned above only diet, but did not put any weight training, thus losing the weight and muscle. This way it will bounce?

This post has misinformation that's a myth.

You do not in fact need to eat clean to loose weight or gain weight.
Yes there is health benefits with eating healthy of course.

But what makes you gain weight or loose weight is overall calory intake vs maintenance calory requirements.

Timing is irrelevant. Overall consistency what matters.

I've done diets where I would eat big before I sleep but since my overall intake wasn't enough I did not gain any weight that I wanted.

However I tend to agree when people say big breakfast but only because it gives you the much needed energy. Don't forget when you sleep your not in taking anything.


Abs is indeed made in the kitchen. It also will show at low body fat percentage and in most cases if your work out is a full body. You don't even need to designate an abs workout.


If you don't do these try to add it in your routine.

SQUATS AND DEADLIFT

Proper form only please.


Edit:
For those looking to get technical on food intake and maximize their gain.

Don't forget fat and carb is equally important as protein intake.
If your hitting those requirements and consistent at the gym.

Your goals will just fall in its place.
