Today I was reading my handwriting book and a waitress ask me what I was doing. I told her I was do'n so work on handwriting. She said why? I said cuz I want to. She asked me to do her handwriting and the long and the short of it is she was receptive and interested and I did nothing to get her there.
Guys, showing you have some value will boost your chances. Plus, sometimes you know the subject so well coming up with something to say isn't a factor. But, you have to choose something you do. Mystery did magic, I'm doing handwriting and origami, someone else might play an instrument, someone else may draw characichers, whatever it is find YOUR thing. Practice it, learn it and use it. Plus, it rounds you out as a guy. Burbing the alphabet is for the guys who resemble a couch, and have the IQ of one.
