I personally know several friends who have achieved unreal results via the p90x. It is not only an exercise plan, but what makes it the real deal is the diet plan, which is the most important part of losing weight. There's nothing 'magic' about putting in the effort and changing what you eat to achieve the results you want--the p90x just packages it up nicely and charges a hefty sum
If you were to do the workout and stick to every aspect, you would acheive results (assuming you have fat to lose as it is not very effective for the skinny guy looking to bulk up)
