Opening in a female clothing store

I find that every time I go into a clothing store.. ie Topman, river island etc, you have to go upstairs to the mens section, however you always get a full view of the female section on ground floor. More often than not, you can spy a hottie in the female section. The main task is approaching them within the female section, so i came up with this one:

You browse around the female section, close to the HB. as if you are looking for a top of some kind. Maybe pick out a top and look at the sizes.. then with a puzzled look put it back on the rail. Then approach the HB and say

Hey sorry to bother you but my friends and I have been set the task of finding a present for one of my best friends' birthday. Though im not too sure about the sizes etc, she is about your size i think.. maybe a little slimmer actually (a sneaky little neg here) but you look like you have really good taste in clothes (you are adding to the hot/cold here) what do you think would be a good top to buy for her?

Responses may vary, ultimately she point out tops that she thinks are nice, which some of them you can neg her about especially if they are a funny colour/print etc. Basically make judgements on her by her selections.

You can them move onto qualifying questions like.. some of these tops are really popular.. are you someone who follows the trend?.. or someone who sets them?

You can DHV by saying how at school/university/work you found it hilarious that when you bought these really cool.. (could be anything) but for example sake- wristbands... that everyone in the school/work/university was wearing them too within 2 weeks. And say something funny like.. maybe i should start going to school/work/uni without underwear on, and tell people.. and see what happens.

When you want the conversation to end, you simply take your phone out of your pocket and pretend to read a text message (you could have even previously sent yourself a txt message) however you say "ah looks like my mate james has found the perfect present in ......(wherever)

You can say.. i have to go and check out this present.. but its really been fun shopping with you.. would you like to do it again sometime?..

It's a good opener just make sure your not caught in the lingerie section otherwise your story will be a bit F*ed up as why would you be buying a "female friend" some crutchless knickers if you get my drift

Say if the HB is in the lingerie section, you simply explain.. again u are buying a present for a best friend, for everyones birthday in your group of friends.. you buy something sexual/funny... explain how for your birthday you were bought an inlfatable sheep (or something funny with sexual connotations).. then ask her what wud be a good choice and sizes etc.. continue as usual. To finish u say the text said that james has found a dominatrix set for her.. (this fact shows that there are more than one of you buying.. therefore removes the idea that it is for a girllfriend.)

i believe that that wudnt work in the lingerie section, she may feel a tad embarrassed if a stranger came up to her in the lingerie section an opened her..... hell it takes all my confidence not to break out into sweat when someone from anne summers comes up and asks me if i need help, so think more about the situation although keepin her abit nervous is good, makes it easier to play hot and cold..
as an opener it is pretty good, you could jus alternatively ask if i she's busy she looks like she knows what she's doing an say im out round town tonite, i need some new threads an opinion of a girl who dosnt work here is more valuable bcoz they will jus try and sell u things which they'v seen every other joe bloggs by and then use your line,
"are you a trend setter or follwer" and can take it from there...
again i think this is taken from style or mystery's date line, im goin shopping do you want to be my fashion monkey? simple and effective, nice work rich jus be careful wot she's buying before u open her...

I used this routine almost verbatim this weekend in a womens clothing store-it worked great! Got a # close for a hb7.5. I added a little twist which seemed to work-
I got her to ask what the girl Im shopping for is like and i told her she was a model! It seemed her attitude changed a bit and became interested after that! She said i should probably check out like Armani (should have made a date right there to join me going there!!!!). I did the "i gotta go, do u have email" after that-gave her my blackberry (this works well) and told her to type it in AND her # too! she did-

_Hey Mate thats and old old old opener for a female stor though i think it works just fine, i use to use that not that long ago but with out the slim neg i think thats genius, and i also agree with romeo i t wouldnt work in the ¨Hot clothes¨ area , if u play the i want to buy my friend something sexually funny if u play it right might take here to help u in that area. but as romeo said it wont work from the start in the lingere section

second instead of your friend being a girl make him a guy and say his ex girlfriend ruined his old clothes and that has a unique style in clothing like he prefer womens pov over a guys

then ask if she would get it for her boyfriend

it worked three times failed twice for me i added in asking about her boyfriend because they usually sit outside the store

That sounds like something worth trying. Aside from being a casual and good opener, I like the idea that many other subjects can come up from the clothes as you walk around the store, along with the throwing in of other routines and DHV stories.

I don't think I'd try for the lingerie part, it's a little too personal for just meeting in a store and I feel like normal clothes would work just fine. I also like the idea of getting a text and ending it like that, too. Thanks, Rich!

I've used this opener lots. It works great. Tell them your friends style is a little classier, more skater, whatever than what the store is. Ask where a good place to look would be. And see if she'll acompany you. The neg is a great idea. I'll be using it this weekend.
