i cant remember where i read this at but it was called a newb mission.
its to build up confidence, you go to the mall or whatever and say hi to every girl that walks by.
so today i went to the mall, i was wearing a regular white button down shirt, kahkis, dress shoes, and this brown jacket(apparently i didnt have work today so i spent an hour at the mall in my work clothes).
most of the time the girls werent even looking at me so when i said "hi" or "hey", they may notice or may not, it was akward as fuck 
really all i wanted to do was build up more confidence in approaching, day game seems much harder than the rest lol.
any suggestions or advice on this or newb missions?

There are two newb missions.
The one you are talking about is this - go to a mall or college campus, anywhere with a lot of women. Once your about 20 feet away, look straight into her eyes, and maintain eye contact. Once you're a few feet away, then say 'hi' and keep going. I'm gonna guess the reason so few people said anything was that you didn't establish EC. Even at that, out of 20 people, 10 will probably walk by without even acknowledging you(meaning, they break EC), 5 will smile, and then maybe 5 will say 'Hi' back.
Theres another newbie mission too that you can try after that - that is, try opening 50 girls in one week. An opener and eject. You don't have to have a long winded conversation or anything, just opener and eject. Thats 4 sets an hour for 3 hours for 4 days a week.
Once you are on the 2nd newbie mission, get back to us if you need help. |

Just be social. If you're in an elevator with somebody, just strike up conversation. It sounds like you're using the 'mission' as a crutch, throwing out greetings to people who aren't even acknowledging you're there. Of course it's not going to go well! Be smart about the goals you set for yourself in your 'mission' by properly communicating. Eye contact at least, engage them in a conversation. The 'mission' aspect of it might be putting pressure on you to perform. Condition yourself to realize that socializing is a normal and non-threatening thing. It can and should be fun.
Strike up three conversations with three strangers. Try to make them last at least three minutes. That will help you work your social muscle better than a thousand random greetings in the mall. |

Me and my friend are actually going to do this tomorrow. Essentially our objective is to approach at least 20 women and try to simply open and eject. Also, if the situation permits, we may neg and number close but I'm not sure if that's possible with our current level.
I'll post the results by Sunday so keep in touch. |

I like buying stuff from places that don't sell those things. So like buying a wine glass from a pub by gaming the bartender, or buying cooking utensils from a restaurant by gaming a waitress, or manager or something.
Now the glass from a pub I didn't find too hard, but its a great way to get over AA, just standing there with a bunch of guys watching hockey while you game the bartender and they listen in. The restaurant is harder, because the waitresses don't really have the authority to sell those things, they need to ask someone else. Whether you can get her to honestly try to get that item for you is all you really are looking to accomplish. If she just half asses it, then that's no good, but if she really tries and fights and explains herself to a manager, or a cook, then you've won. |
