New Opener, need some assistance refining the responses. It's an opinion opener and I know some of your thoughts on this type of opener but I'm trying to come up with my own stuff.

Opener- "I need your opinion on something, but I can only stay for a second. Would you date anyone you met on myspace? Backstory I use- The reason is my long time friend (girls name) met this guy and they've been talking for a while. She seems to like talking to him online and have a lot in common. (a little DHV long time friend that's a girl)

Here where I need help.

If yes I say, "What if he kills or rapes her, I couldn't live with myself."

If no I say, "What if she misses out on the love of her life because of me?"

Give me your opinions and ideas on responses to use back.

Thanks in Advance,

Good opener. I actually have a real friend that fits the setup to a "T". So I could easily expand on it if necessary.

A good opener mate the only thing i noticed was maybe the killing and raping bit is a bit strong as an opener unless told in a completely joking way. Maybe a little less serious like "maybe its not them in their picture" or they lied about their age"

I do it in a joking laughing manner believe me. However, I like yours a lot better as they are less likely to be taken the wrong way and ruin the set.
Thanks for the help!

Good opener man. Its very realist and with todays fashion, myspace and all that.
Leave out the raping and killing bit though, I think you might scare a few people away with that one lol.

Hey man good opener but I'd probably replace "rape and killed" thing with... "Well what if she ends up being tied up in this creepy guy's basement? I could never live with myself. Plus I'd try to push most of my guilt onto you. After all you are the one giving the advice here." *Smile C&F*

Hey bro. Yeah, the myspace thing definitely fits in with today's culture. I know the others have criticized the rape and murder part, and I understand why, and I can see substituting the tied up in the basement bit, but if said right, I personally don't see anything wrong with the rape or murder part either, because honestly, that IS realistic today as well. So, it does fit into the culture. And, it is something to add an attention grabbing tool to it.

So, in my opinion, I think the opener is fine.

I like it, you seem to be coming up with some good stuff recently.

A suggestion to carry on the conversation if she does say No, you could then transition into the story that Style seems to favour by the Japanese dude Haruki Murakami about the man and women who meet randomly on the street and pass up the opertunity to spend the rest of their lives with each other cus they think they can leave it to fate. I am of course presuming that being the PUA genius that you are you know this story but if not just ask and I can go into more detail. Very Happy

Just an idea and I could be way off the mark, but it would at least keep the conversation going in a slightly different direction and is quite a good story as well.

I appreciate your comments and your suggestions. I used this opener last night with good results. It seems to be a very "now a days" type of opener. Most women usually agree that given the situation she should either "meet him with friends" and of course meet him in a public place. Just to give you and idea of the responses I get. Wink
