Hello all,
I am eighteen and have never had a girlfriend, I've never been kissed, and obviously I am a virgin. And I have a bit of AA.
But I am ready for a change, after going through high school watching my friends enjoy the pleasures of being not-single; I am ready to be not-me.
I wrote about two more paragraphs but decided to cut them out because I was rambling.
All in all, I have read almost half of The Game, and I am starting on Without Embarrassment, and will begin DYD afterward.
My question is, what do you think is the first step in leaving the AFC status? |

Thx for the quick responses guys. yeah, i need to get out of my house and start talking to girls. I have only been hanging out with my guy friends lately, the only girl around is my buddy's gf. I may have to try some of the Newbie Exercises, like saying hello to a random woman while walking down the street.
but I really think I also need to improve on my inner game like GATA and Beschatten said, I need to gain some self confidence. Can any1 let me know where I can get some more info about the Inner Game? |

I was exactly like u before man i had never kissed a girl ...
Try to get some friends ( you go to school? so there should be some) that you can go to clubs or disco or partys and just dance with the girls. because in a situation like this its normal just to start to dance with girls, you dont need openers or negs or stuff like that just go up to them and shout ( if its loud sound) hey come on why are you just standing like that.. dance !! etc
If you are good looking that's a + because you will recieve IOIS from this and it will help you... if your not good looking try to work out a bit and go to a solarium and get brown  |

haha yeah thanks dude, I'll have to work on that. School starts next month so I'll keep reading to prepare. speaking of dancing.... I fucking SUCK at dancing. And I am a complete idiot, check this out....
This pretty hot chick Marcy (HB7or8 in my oppinion) wanted to dance with me at my senior Prom, so we went out and danced. she laughed at my futile attempts to dance (not an offensive laugh, she was really supportive and even tried to teach me how.) but eventually she got "tired" (AKA embarrassed) and stopped dancing. I tried to dance for about another ten minutes but became so self conscious I went upstairs and talked to some friends.
About a week after prom we were walking out of class together, and right before we had to part ways she says. "Hey Kyle, if you ever want to learn how to dance you can come over to my place and I'll give you some lessons." I am such a fucking moron, I had no idea she was coming on to me, I could've been laid. But I dreaded the idea of dancing for another second, so I said, "ummm..... I dunno.. maybe......" Suddenly her face dropped, she couldn't believe her ears; I couldn't believe MY ears! I was choosing to avoid temporary embarrassment over hanging out with a HB!! She walked away and we never really talked after that. :/
I like to believe that I am good looking, I like to believe that is why Marcy asked me to go back to her place. I just need a severe boost in my self esteem and about 2,000 volts in my brain  |
