Okay, so I'm a college student in Minnesota. I just started the semester about three weeks ago. During the first couple days of the semester I noticed this ridiculous HB8-9 in my Econ class. After class is over I feel pretty good about myself and can't wait for the next time we have class. Two days later I go back, and she isn't there! I was pretty upset but eventually just forgot about it and went on with my day.
About three days later I get a message on facebook from this girl. I couldn't believe it. She said she wanted to hang out and whatnot (people say that on facebook all the time and sometimes its creepy, but I didn't think she would actually follow through with it).
The weekend comes and my buddies and I head out to this kegger downtown and lone behold that HB is there. I give her the three second rule then went to talk to her. We had a good conversation for about 20 minutes then I ended it saying that my friends were leaving so I had to go as well. She then quickly scrambled to get my number. I felt good about myself because I had actually gotten some digits that night.
So we start talking on the phone every so often and then I bring up the notion that we should go out to lunch. She agreed and we ended up going to a local Panera Bread. Conversation was good and then she asked me one question that I hate being asked by girls. "Do you smoke weed?" ...I paused then said, "not really only when my friends do!" I think she could get the sense that I wasnt totally telling the truth (she lives with girls that would probably know that I do). But also I think someone might have told her or informed her. So after lunch I go home and just think of what an idiot I was for not telling the truth because she could easily find out from people around school. But thats besides the point right now.
It has been about half a week to a week since I have called her because I got the impression that she wasn't feeling it because of the whole weed thing, so I wanted to give her space and not look like a needy AFC. But I get a text at 11pm lastnight from her saying she wants to meet up and give me these CDs that she has promised. So what I would like to know is: should I even bring up the weed and tell her the truth? or should i try and play the game to see if i can score some kudos? This girl is driving me psychologically insane!
any advice would be so much appreciated! |

I wouldn't bring it up. Not because I think lying is ok, but because you didn't lie to begin with. She knows you smoke weed, you told her this.
If she brings it up, then yes, tell her the whole truth. |
