Myself and a guy from the Attraction Forums met up for the first time and for both our first time sarging. We went to a club after chatting a bit about where each of us stand and the club was absolutely deserted. We went out to a sports bar and I tried a line of mine on 3 different groups. I got a chuckle but I didn't really have the sense to take it further. The goal of the night was only to approach sets to reduce my anxiety a bit. I walked up to groups of guys with girls and just girls. I was friendly and energetic. They were friendly in return. My wing made absolutely NO attempts to approach at the sports bar.

I hoped that the club would be a little better when we returned. I told my wing that when we get inside I would put him in a set of girls with "Have you met Manny?" Unfortunately there was no set of girls to be had. The place was still deserted. We sat down and had a few drinks while the bartender, a cute short half Asian half German bubbly chick was seeking attention. I would rate her at 7/7.5. My wing came out of his shell a bit since the bartender basically approached us. I was digging her. So was my wing but we hadn't really decided who got first dibs in the situation so we were both playing cocky funny. I teased the hell out of her and asked her what animal she would be. When she took too long to answer I teased her more. She bought me a beer right in front of my wing and basically ignored him. I told her I don't drink alone and she made my wing pay for his drink. Ouch. I couldn't hear most of the stuff my wing was saying to her and I think that did him in. He wasn't talking loud enough and probably didn't speak with enough conviction.
I don't think I built any attraction with her. At least I can't be sure. No matter how much reading I do, I can't seem to understand how the attraction truly happens. Neg her and DHV? Other than the beer, I can't recall any real IOIs, plus she's technically a Hired Gun, so I can't trust all IOIs anyway.
She ended up telling us that she works at the club Tuesdays and Thursdays. Since the club was so empty, we got a lot of attention from her and when we left she gave us hugs.
I did not number close. It was actually the furthest thing from my mind. I had to catch the last train home or I'd be stranded in New York City until 5am.
That was my first time sarging and although I'm a bit disappointed with my wing's performance I hope to really get him involved when we try again next thursday.
I'd like to see that bartender again and maybe try to number close her. I really like the line "So what's the best way to contact you?" Is it appropriate to return to the club one week after meeting her? If she asks why I came back, I think I'll say "for the free beer". |

| i read a lot too like you said. it makes me feel like i know everything but when you get thrown out there its a little harder. keep practicing and open as many sets as possible. that is the only way i have been learning. the last 3 parties i went to i went with the goal to meet everyone at least once that night. oddly enough, i meet around 98% of the people. you have to aim high and you get high results. now i havent been that successful yet but i am seeing where i am going wrong and where i'm going right and with opening like 10-20 sets a night, i can really gain experience fast. |
