Many on here may not know who Tom Leykis is- He is is a radio personality who teaches men how to get laid, usually through the perception of having money, power, fame, or all the above.
His routine is to go to a bar and act completely oblivious to any women there. He drinks, talks to the bartender, maybe reads a book or newspaper and watches whatever sport is showing on tv. After a while, attention depraved women will approach him.
I am wondering if NOT approaching women and being oblivious to their existance has ever worked for any PUAs here. |

There's a big problem with this: you DON'T WANT the attention deprived women to approach you. If women are approaching you because they are starved for attention, it means they aren't being hit on by anyone else. But all the 9s and 10s are getting hit on all the time. They don't need to bother approaching you, and they expect you to do that. |

| Im european and have never heard of this dude. It sounds pathetic. It sounds like the opposite of sarging... actually it is the opposite of sarging, its just waiting. Theres nothing positive can come of this. |

Wow someone from my city here on the forum. 
There are somethings I agree with when it comes to Tom Leykis method. But for the most part I would stay away from his method. Unless of course you want damage goods and girls that are not of quality. |

When I was trying to get some friends into the basics of PUA I had them do an exercise to internalize the concept of creating their own energy and fun when out at a club/ bar instead of trying to leach of the energy/fun of picking up women or even the women themselves.
So I had us sit and drank and had fun just hanging out. I told them not to look at any woman unless she forces the issue. Be completely oblivious to the entire environment. I did try as much as possible to observe our effect on our immediate environment and we definitely had some HB's looking but we were only approached by less desirables.
So for the purposes of sarging this doesn't really work but it is a great exercise to get AFC's out of the habit of walking into a club/bar and making their existence all about checking out women, hitting on them and leaching energy off the the HOPE to get "lucky" which of course is everything PUAs don't do. |
