I started out with hip pop dance lessons. Mostly choreographed. I'm thinking about taking swing or ballroom, or maybe salsa. The key is to know how to move your hips, because to a woman, it's a preview of how you move in the bedroom Smile

next time a girl asks you to dance, play around with it a bit, then confess that you dont know how. lol ill be honest, I can dance pretty good but i still do this. Let her take you out on the floor and teach you. SHE WILL LOVE IT. and after a bit, weather you succeed in dancing or not, you can say you've had enough of that for now and take her back off the floor to continue building comfort.

you don't need to know how to dance just be able to grind while dancing close....girls are not impressed with your soul train dancing the guy doing that looks like an idiot if you really think about it. So knowing all the latest dance moves is pointless

yea you dont need to know how to dance its basically just standing there and letting the girl have a good time.

The getting the girl to "teach" you is a real good idea, ill have to try it sometime.

If you're trying to get better at dancing, the most important thing is keeping the beat ticking like a metronome in your head and making your movements - prob left to right to left to right - crisp on the beat.

avoid ridiculous dance moves and trying to peacock with them if you're not actually good. Youtube the clip from the movie "Hitch" where Hitch is teaching the guy how to dance. If you're a beginner STAY IN THE ZONE.

Take a dance class! I just started with one last week and man let me tell you I love it! You will meet tons of women, and become more comfortable moving on the dance floor.

If you REALLY wanna learn how to dance, take a dancing class of some sort. Not enough cash to do that (or time)? Then rent, borrow, or buy some dvds that teach you how to dance. There are several out there, some horrid and some good. Find what works for you! Smile

P.S. I'm a female and I've never honestly linked dancing with "how good a guy is in bed". It's not always true.

ya but I'm sure you've linked dancing with confidence / alpha-ness / fun factor right?

I mean, yeah . . . a person DOES have to have at least a little bit of confidence (or be drunk enough Wink ) to have the courage to dance in front of others. And . . . who DOESN'T have fun when their dancing??? That's just an oxymoron if you don't have fun.
As far as "alpha-ness", don't that just fit in with confidence?

Dance classes are a plus, but not required. Moving your body to the beat, that's required. Knowing all the latest dance moves, not required. But, also a huge plus too, if you can actually pull the dance moves off when on the floor. Do that, and watch the girls flock.

Watch the latest music videos. Pull up YouTube instructional videos, check out instructional dvds, all of that will help with your dancing.

Then, when you've got that girl with her back up against you, grinding, pressing her body against you on the dance floor, her hair flirting with your face, and her head turning toward you enough for you to see that smile on her face, you're in.

okay i am not the greatest dancer, but grinding is the easiest form because we barely have to do anything, we do though, none the less when i went on vacation this summer to bermuda, down there grinding is like forbidden, they refuse, they dance in groups and parted from each other, i was clueless because i know up north no one really does that
