That simple. Its not one thing in particular its loads of things. Such as body language, attitude, eye contact, tone of voice and the verbal language you use. you need to convey to them (subtly or some times not so subtly, depending on circumstance) that your intention isnt to be just another friend.
simple things like posture or even calling a girl sexy instead of sweet/adorable/ pretty etc. make a difference.
i mean her parents calls her sweet and adorable.
The are alot of good threads on this forum. Motivaional and informal.
