i recently just heard about the hunter-gatherer diet and its supposed to completely rid you of acne after around 3-6weeks. i would try it myself but im only 16 so i eat what my mom cooks..

if someone could try it id appreciate it, i hear people feel a great boost in energy is extremely good for blood pressure/heart disease

bro i had the WORST acne around 1.5 years ago. i mean my whole face was covered with really DENSE pimples as well as my back

I tried dieting washing etc and then eventually went on roaccutane, pimples are genetic in my family so this was the only way i reckon

after about 6 months i didnt have one pimple on my face, just a little bit of redness and still a little scarring

after a year my face looked perfect however there was a tiny little bit of scarring

right now my skins perfect its come along way. their are alot of side effects though... u go red when u drink, dry lips, dry skin, sunburn easily. u dont need to wash ur face much or anything though!

First of all bra, theres been no solid evedence that your diet will effect your acne, thats why some ppl said they can eat alot of junk ( like chocolate and stuff) and still not get acne. Don't go for that vitamin crap, yeah it helps, like a 1/100 scale for battling acne. Get that stuff thats proven to work, no fancy gimmicks like tonic water and stuff. Go see a your doctor, he has traning in acne so that you won't need a dermatologist unless you got insane disfugering ance. He'll perscripe a normal topical if you got mild ( like differen), or if its bad he'd team up with bacterial pills and a heavy duty topical. you should wash your face only twice a day, like normal, cause its not the cleaning that gets acne, its the topical that does the work ( and it has to stay on ur face to do some clearing). Topical is a cream, gel or whatever that stays on ur face for 8 hours, sorta like oxypads, but oxypads would be the weakest, most ineffective topical u can rely on ( being it has saliyic acid, and that its only meant to help ppl with really mild acne). Any questions directed at me i can answer. Read a book on acne and seen a doctor. I'm on bacterial pills and a moderate topical.

ok i actually got my mom around to letting me do the paleo diet the night of my last post lol. we went to costco bought an assload of veggies/fruit and lean meats chicken/beef/pork

so far its been about 3 days and i have absolutely no new acne. my old acne is slowly dying. i really dont kno wat else to say, because im pretty damn sure this diet works already. i even touched my face like crazy yesterday just to see if it would do anything and my face is still relatively acne free just needs to heal

diet not leading to acne im pretty sure is bullshit because its only been a couple days and shits dissappearing like mad

Ok brah, but i've seen plenty of vetarians with acne. Save ur money and go see a doctor. You'd need the money for accutine.

Well accutane did one hell of a job for me, and my face used to look like a pizza straight out of the oven. However, my skin became extremely dry resulting in chapped lips for the whole time and RANDOM areas of dry skin (behind my entire ear! wtf right?!?). But it did do a fantastic job. If you can't get it just message me and I'll point you in the right direction...

As everyone has seemed to mention, obviously a good diet is needed.

I also found that tea-tree oil worked wonders in getting rid of the redness of my spots and then seemed to shrink them.
It's widely available and you should be able to pick some up pretty cheap.

pay a visit to your local derm and tell him if he doesn't put you on tane you will send him your acne puss through the mail. 8)

But seriously accutane really works, its the only thing that ACTUALLY works for severe acne, fuck proactiv it's bullshit.

if its really bad go to the dermatologist and ask him to give you a recipe for Indoxyl gel. I dont know if they have it in america but for me it really helped a lot !!!

and bysides its always good to go jogging and eat healthy (the liquid stuff is important -> just water)

I'll tell you a old proverb, " he who is resistant to change will eventually perish". Seems to me that you desperately want that diet to work, thats why your getting offencive and defending it with all you got. But i'm not going to respond no more, i'm sure if someone has any medical experience on this forum will tell you to scrap the diet, save ur efforts, and use the money on some acne medicine that actually works. Again, theres no solid evedence that food is linked to your acne, your ance is cause by hormones, so your glands are sensitive and produce to much oil, which gets clogged in your pores, so its not dirt that in ur pores, its just oil. What a topical does is dries out your skin, making you shed skin more so that the oil won't clog the pores, that way no pimples. And what bacteria pills do is itll go to your acne and kill p. bacteria, which is the problem. But again, maybe i'm wrong, and maybe your right, but i assure you i'm not talking out of my ass, i've actually read a book about how acne starts and so forth.

Apart from keeping my face clean I use Zink paste, I can strongly recommend it.
It has a tooth paste like consistency and it is full of zink which is proved to reduce acne.
I apply very little on each pimple before I go to bed and in the morning they are gone.
It also lasts you forever, my small tube (half size of a tooth paste tube) has lasted me for 6 years and is still not empty!!!
Great stuff, you should be able to find it at any pharmacy.

To put it short.

It doesn't matter what face wash stuff you use. If you don't eat good your body will never rid itself of acne.

Sun also helps.
