| i work out at the gym quite a bit. I just can't think of a good opener that fits the situation without being too direct when i see a girl i want to open. The other thing is that every body in the gym has on their freakin ipods. Any suggestions on how to open appropriately and get through the ipod shield let along the bitch shield? |

If a girl is wearing her ipod, what I have always done is try to mimic the huge guy that grunting in lifting, comically of course. You want to do in such a way that you get her attention but don't get his. I've tried this myself two times and it started a conversation twice. Just bear in mind, if you do this, make sure she doesn't know him... please |

That's a good approach.
Or, if you're a more direct person, you can get in front of her to get her to make eye contact with you. Once she does, point to either your ear or her ear, so she gets the message. Once she either takes the ear piece out or just stops the music, you can ask what she's listening to. Now, she's opened. |

| Just walk up to her and ask if you can share the particular machine she is working out on, most of the time she will say yes and then ask her what kind of music she is listening to on her ipod and then start stacking and run your game from there. good luck. |
