I'm new to the game (sort of), but I've experienced most of this shit first hand it seems. Learning the hard way sucks, and yes I've been one of those guys that say...."how the fuck did that guy pull her?".....or......"I know I look better than that guy!". (typical AFC)

I read the MM already and have started on "The Game" and will follow it up with "Magic Bullets". I'm not one of these people that has a ton of AA as I've talked to beautiful girls (I bounce at a bar) and it doesn't really phase me. I've also never had issues with getting dates solely on my looks/physique alone.

However, I want much much more out of life, and I strive for perfection in my life. If I set out to do something, I want to be the best at it, and being a pick up artist will be no different.

What tips could you people give to help me start out? Like anything you do, it should involve a plan. Should I sit down and write out some of my material that I want to use for X night and then go run it on different sets? Should I just break open sets without any preparation and just wing it following the guides? Is it best to start your sarging out of town?

I think my problem is sustaining a conversation and DHVing myself with stories. I have problems thinking of stories that could DHV me while in the process of entertaining the group. I'm a Cisco Network Engineer. Now that in itself is a huge DHV, but it's hard to explain to non-IT people what the hell a router and switch is. (funny, b/c i don't look like a IT nerd) I try to stay away from the specifics unless they ask.

I dont fear rejection (even though it sucks) or failure. I know eventually it'll come to me and I'll reach my full potential. Confidence isn't something I lack, even though my inner game could be a bit more polished.

Thanks for the replies in advance.
