Gaming at work...

Some people say go for it, some people say stay away. I would like to hear both sides of the argument, as I'm debating it myself. We got some cute new recruits at work and I think it'll be a perfect way to test my game, or lack thereof. Right now all there is is flirting here and there, and the usual getting to know each other (name, where you went to school, etc...). And all of the girls have asked my name first, but I think it is because they want to know their co-workers' names. So, would you game a chick that you work with?

Or... how about customers? I know this is generally unaccepted, but at the place where I work (Abercrombie) I think flirting can be done to an extent. I have not tried this yet, mostly because I'm not sure if it will be a smart idea.

Any input?

I game these 2 chicks i work with every day...but i use them as practice. It will never go anywhere.

Romanticlly (or sexually) i wouldnt mind gameing someone i work with as long as it didnt conflict with my employement there.

As for customers, be personable. You can be c&F and stuff just dont go overboard.

Alot of sales people use 'game' to make better sales or just to make it less painful to deal with people all day Razz

I say go for it but dont push it.

Do it, just make sure it ends friendly and don't get too intimate at work. In the store is time for working and making money. Keep all that in mind.

haaa work is the perfect place for gaming chicks. they cant go anywhere! it is very good practice for 8 hours at a time. right now im gaming a chick i work with. it is very difficult though because we work on opposite ends and have a boss that goes apeshit if ur talking. i still manage though Very Happy

hooking up with chicks at work is a different story. at one point i worked with TWO ex's. that SUCKED lol. i met both of them thru the job. if things dont work out, it can suck being around them at work all the time. if things didnt work out and u are still attached to the girl, seeing her all the time at work does NOT help. out of site, out of mind....

i still find it easiet to game chicks at work. i just act myself all the time at work and dont hold back.

lols I love DTM's attitude, f*ck it. Who cares if your sorrounded by ex's at the end? Who cares is seeing the everyday is wearing away your lifelong emotional threshold. Walk into it without carinf and you will soon build up a tolerance and an affirmation for just doing whatever you want to whoever you want whenever you want.

i flirt, but i dont run anything recited or premeditated. i just dont want to be PU 24/7. there is more to me then that, and i gotta moderate myself, otherwise i just get too PU oriented.

...so any guys in your life right now?
i use this one the most because it doesnt have to be suggestive, i ask that to girls that are friends all the time, but when its a girl that you are flirting with, they will answer confidently because they cant know for sure what your intentions are.

Well, there's two different points to make when it comes to fishing in the company pond.

1-I make it a point not to do anything with anyone at work. I have a good friend that actually had to quit his job because of his ex. She got a bug up her ass and shit-talked him to everyone. By the time that he quit, people didn't even know why they broke up, for all they knew, he was grinding up puppies in a food processor. I like my job too much to have this happen to me.

2- On the other hand, you work at Abercrombie. It's retail and the employee turnover at retail is so high that if a chick is mad at you, wait 6 weeks, all the employees will be brand new and no one will know.

I say, specifically for you, game on.

Point 2 is really a good point. If shit hits the fan, I can always transfer over to Hollister (where I have a shit-ton of friends working) or transfer to another Abercrombie store that is only like 15 minutes away. Or, I could find another easy min. wage job.
