| so i was at this party the other night with my friend and he is totally afc and kind of socially awkward sometimes. i would be talking to many sets and he would just follow me because my other friends were boring and not going for women. he would cock block a lot and i would give him pointers on how not to cock block. also, in isolation, he would follow or distract my target. when i started to use some of the same material at the end of the night (the best friends test), he looked at me weird and just said "omg you are so lame". right in front of the whole set. i just stopped and told him that i read about this in a book and wanted to try it (lie just so he wouldnt go on and on later in the night about it). i really think he would be a great wing because he is good at story telling and dhv. the only thing is i think he will think of me as a dork if i reveal the pua community to him. whenever i say anything about anything sexual he just says "youre such a virgin" and changes subject. should i try to help him out and get a good wing or if not, how should i try to defuse him in a set? he is a cool friend but can be annoying socially. help will be appreciated |

no he is a cool guy he just says stuff in his mind out loud a lot so that is just what came out. i dont want to tool him but then again i dont want to be tooled. i think with a little work and aa work he would be great. he told me at the end of the night "man i give you props for being able to approach any woman you want tonight". he probably knows something is up but then again i dont want him to use what i have against me with my friends because he cant keep secrets 100% and he says what is on his mind a lot. |

dude i told a couple of my buddies about this shit and no one believed me . . .then finally one of my buddies i told just to read the game and he started to read it came back to me and now he is all about it .. . i really dont care if my friends think its lame as soon as i show up with 1 HB 9 or HB10 they will just drop their jaw and be like NO WAY how did u do that and u simply tell them u used what u read |

| Keep it a secret, If you can't trust the guy not to spill it too everybody he shouldn't know it. He could become a decent wing though, if he already says whats on his mind, how would he become knowing actual game? |

You give some of the worst advice. Non-PUAs aren't going to make good wing men unless they are born naturals and have no issues picking up women. Most likely if he tries to give his buddy some advice, they buddy will reject it and continue to AFC. My suggestion is to either bring him into the fold or simply quit sarging with guys like this. If he doesn't learn and you keep him around, he's going to kill your game and DLV you all to hell.
I have friends I sarge with and friends I party with. I wouldn't dare take my AFC friends sarging. Why? Because they have 0 clue about the psychology behind it, and I don't even know if they would believe it. Most people find it hard to believe and don't think it works anyway. |

I agree with Artist617.
I generally do not ever go sarging anymore. I do go and party though. I never know who is going to be with me. All of my friends (be they PUA or AFCs) know to never DLV each other ever in front of girls we are talking to. This is the most important thing.
Beyond that, I can amp up my friends energy enough that even though they may not know techniques, they do become fun people to be around.
Also, I have had to tell them not to come up to me when I am talking to girls until I motion them over. They know I will so they wait patiently. |

You have 2 directions you can go in Lucid...
-Tell your friends so they at least know not to cock block
-Go out with or without them and seperate from them when sarging.
If they say things like "your lame" in front of people, counter their AMOG...unless you enjoy comments like that, in which case you let it slide so next time they slap you hard on the back when they call you lame (left uncorrected their AMOG'in will get worse).
I have decided not to tell my friends and seperate from them when we go out if i want to sarge. The benifit for me with this is that i can do what i do, and other nights i can spend establishing myself as the leader of my own group. Also when i sarge i dont have to deal with them as either sompetition or as cock blocks.

| ok if it happens again i will just let him know how to be a good wing. i wasnt really sarging. just having fun at a friends frat so it didnt ruin the night or anything haha. i usually go sarging by myself but he could be a good wing with a little work. just a thought for down the road |

You call him a hater because he disagrees with you? And then, instead of being the bigger man, you tell people to never listen to him and that he is a loser with no friends? I feel I should be neg-repping you as well.
As for the wing, I'd say talk to him about it. You should have brought him aside sometime that night and talked to him about it. If he is a real friend, he will listen and respond as a friend should. Talk to him before entering a set about which one is your target, see how he feels about it, tell him to engage one of the others if he is interested. There's no reason you both shouldn't be having fun. |
