It's Friday night, and shiddy in NYC so I ended up staying homes because my wings did too.
Now it's Saturday, I'm ready to practice once again. My wing is on a date and won't be free till 3 AM!!! So instead,I try to meet up a friend who's visiting the city, but later towards the night he doesn't answer any calls…
Fcuk it. I'm going lone wolf tonight.
Set 1
Get to the club…
I know if I don't make friends quickly, not only will lose social proof, but I'll be in the wrong mental state.
Before you know it, I'm making small talk, with a big smile. Chatting up and *cheers*ing (clink w/ the drink) to many people. I now feel that everyone there is my friend. I lean back at the bar and open a *are you from blah blah, cuz everyone who has that hair is from blah blah*. I wouldn't cal this the best opener but I think she finds me phys. attractive. Her guy friend (not a amog) and the 2 of us chat. I ask so "how do you all know each other". The guy is quickly identified as friend. So I use my "friend basket sucks" routine, which I came up with on the spot. And she confirms, happily, "oh he's just a friend". Ha! Withing 2 minutes the guy walks away, leaving her with me. I dance with her, and she wants to buy me a shot. Fine with me, I don't offer to pay… we talk and dance and grinding…nice job. And all of a sudden she walks away, I think is was out of sympathy for the AFC friend. Oh well…. "NEXT!!"
Set 2
HB 7. I chill'n on a elevated platform, with all black folks. They were cool. Talk up a black chick no opener. Physical proximty allowed easy convo. I don't remember a thing I said. But I know I finished with DD's I thnk we'd make good friends routine. Well it worked. # close. Not really in to black girls, but fcuk it I need the exp. points.
Set 3
HB 0 - fat chick and HB 5 - older chick. Just chattin to build up my confidence and comfort. Plus I was just really fee'n chatty. "next!!"
Set 4
HB 7.5 - now it's getting better. Finally! Dancing.. Shes want to dance with me I can feel it. As I start to, some people wakling around puch my hand and I spill some of my drink on myself. Enough to piss me off I leave the killing zone.
Conclusion, I felt very comfortable, was able to talk to anyone. But lost focus on closing because of Mr. Bacardi.
Set 5
It's 4 am. I slept so much I have too much energy. I go to afterhours club, lone wolf style. Meet two HB 7s outside… randon stuff. I'm too buzzed to mentally focus on gaming. We get in the club together. It's $50 to get in. Fcuk that. I make friends w/ the guy walking out to use ATM. Pretend we're great buddies and I tell him I'll buy him a drink. I slide past about 100 people to get in for free. Very nice.
I'm drunk.. Need to go home it's 7 am. This is a failed field test. Classic "don’t drink too much, focus on the goal". |
