Hello everyone, first post here sorry it’s a little long,
Background: We met at a bar started talking everything was going great, bought her a drink we danced a little made out, had a blast. At the end of the night neither of us could find our friends so we went outside talked a little and I asked her if she wanted to go to my place. She says yes so I think it’s a home run I got nothing to worry about. Well its going great and then her fucking phone rings!! Her roommate just broke up with her boyfriend and she is in tears (I can hear her crying even though she did not have speaker phone on) So I know the mood is gone and she is apologizing that she has to go. I am a nice guy and give her a ride because she lives on the other side of campus.
We exchanged numbers and she tells me to call her. Next day (Saturday) I go out with my friends and text her that she should come out. She tells me she is working late plus she has to work early on Sunday. Since I was leaving to go on a camping/mtn biking trip (plus visit my parents) she told me to let her know when I am back in town.
A day later she adds me on Facebook and a simple post:
Her: have fun on the camping trip!!
I respond: thx I will, and I will be back in town in about 2 weeks, we should hang out as long as you can find a day off 
(good? bad?)
Then a week and half passes with nothing until last night. She sends me another message on facebook.
Her: Did you go mtn biking? I am so jealous I never get to do anything fun. Let me know when ur back in town and then we can hang out.
(wierd thing is there are pictures on facebook of the trip that my sister tagged me in, so she has to know that I went)

Not sure where to go from here. I have this epic problem of getting a girl interested at first and for some reason they loose interest by the second day or even before the night is over.
Question.
1. Should I send her a message back on Facebook and what should I say just to keep her interested? Or just contact her when I am back in town? |

in my opinion i would wait till u get back... so she is longing to talk to u ... or send her a message like next time ill thk about bringn u wit me... even if u dont have intentions to take her... either i thk should work.. and lemme kno if it does  |

Ok.... The major flaw in this scenario, is that you didn't call her. You texted her. Text messages, are a really big no no, especially for your first point of contact upon exchanging number's. Texting shows that you haven't got the guts to speak to her thus, undoing all of your great work in initiating conversation with her. Also texting, should only be done, once you've got a basis for general patterns of communicating with her only because, you don't want her to misinterpret what you have said in your text message.
Secondly, timing... you texted her the next day. Now there's no general protocol on how long you should call her back, but I go by the two day rule. This is to eliminate showing her too much interest. You call, her after two days from meeting, THEN, you try to create a day 2. If you're stuck on what to say when you're talking to her, use the search function, type in Phone Game, i'm pretty sure there will be some useful stuff floating around on here. |
