so me and my boys have been learning some material just found out about PUA and decided to go out on our first sarge... apparently they both went out the night before and didn't tell me about it and both had done they're first openers and it went so so from what i hear. So all night long we go in and out of bars first couple bars didnt have any groups of women with out an AMOG and im not ready to deal with AMOG's right now. So I find some friends at one bar (they are women friends) and figure ive got a couple pivots but still couldnt get the balls.
Finally we get to one bar and my wings are hagglin me to do my first opener just gotta do it get it out of the way, of course the lil voice in my head is talkin me down instead of up. I walk up to a 2 set hb7's but noticed i was walkin straight upto them and didnt want the frontal approach basicly talking myself out of it. I get a drink at the bar and figure there was a 4 set we had been eye'n all hb 4's with one hb5, but when i went to open them they had dissapeard! WTF im thinkin at this point so I pissed at myself and figure i gotta head back to that 2 set at the bar which had now turned into a 3set... I turn around and voila a 2 set right infront of my eye's! so i tell the HB 4 my opener as the HB6 is mad she aint gettin the attention.
just get that first opener done for the night and its sooo much easier to open after that. we are gonna keep on sarging, sorry about all the text but thought it might help someoen or atleast give a good story for a first sarge. happy sargin to you all. |

Congratulations on getting your first opener out of the way! As you learned very quickly the longer you wait to open a set the harder it becomes, and the louder that little voice in your head gets. Hence why the 3 second rule was created. Remember that's 3 seconds from when you see them you are in the approach pattern on your way over.
Look forward to reading future posts from you. Just keep it up, and your next step is stacking your openers.
