Ok..
I am new here and in the Venusian arts. Tonight was my first night out sarging.
I went to a club with very loud music and not so many women as I expected. So I see a 2 girl set and I go there. I forgot to smile at the approach so all came down. Here is the conversation:
Talker: Hi! Can I ask you a question? I had a conversation with my buddy back there.
Set: Yes.
Talker: Do you believe kiss is cheating?
Set: No. (And took their looks from me)
Talker: Thanks. (Eject!)
I went to a next 2 girl set and I tried the same opener again..
And here how it went:
Talker: Hi! I'll be quick because I need to get back to my friend over there (point him). Do you believe kiss is cheating?
Set: It depends from the situation.
Talker:Ok. Here it is.. We have a very good friend who has 3 years of relationship. He got drunk one night at a party, but I don't think that is an excuse because drink sets you free, it doesn't make you do something you don't want to do..
Set: Right..!
Talker: So he kissed a girl. We, me and my buddy, told him to be honest with her and tell her right away.
Set: Very nice!
Talker: So he does and she dumped him.
Set: It's all about feelings. Did he tell her that it was a great kiss?
Talker: He didn't talk about this with her, because we thought that it would destroy everything..! What an irony, right?!
Set: HAHAHA!
At this point a guy who was a friend of them comes along (I thing from the washroom) and the other girl (not the one that I am talking) changed position and got away from me. And the girl I was talking looked at him and change all her body language.
Because of all these changes I got confused and I went to the next thread which I thought that it would be good, "The C & U smiles". Remember that I am talking to one of the girls now. The other one had left and went far from me.
Talker: You have a U smile. You know that?
Her: No. What's that?
Talker A U smile is when your teeth go straight back in your mouth. They say that people are friendly.
Her: Thank you very much.
And she went back to her friend. She ejected. She thought that I was hitting on her. Right?
I believe that in the second set I was looking only one girl and that I was leaning to much in because the music was very loud.
It was my first night out. I used this opener but I didn't know what to do next..
Any suggestions. I am new so bring it on..
I want to know!!!

| so you went from an opener to the u-smile routine....hmmm....you need better transitions....you also forgot to neg anything about her, you went straight for a compliment |

This is my FAVORITE opener that
has NEVER failed me. It has a 100%
success rate.
Me: Hey, did you see what happened
outside?
Her: No, what happened?
Me: It was nuts, these two girls were
going at it, and cops had to separate
them. As they were moving them apart,
one girl tries to spit on the other. She
misses completely and hits the cop right
in the face!
Her: *freaks out, and says 'Zomg!'
Me: Yeah, can you guess what all of this
was over?
Her: No, what?
Me: They were fighting over some dude
named Pinder...who the hell fights over
a guy named pinder, anyway?
Her: Hahaha, that's crazy.
Me: Oh, speaking of names: would you
ever date a guy named herbert?
Her: Depends on the personality.
Me: Well, I knew this guys named herb.
Nobody liked him--people ignored him
and guys couldn't stand him. He changed
his name to Nick, and got laid like a fucking
rockstar. Can you believe that shit?
And just go on from there!
Throw negs, DHV yourself,
kino excalate--do whatever
you have to do do number-

| All I can see is you didn't neg her at all. As for the fight outside routine. I would stay the hell away from that one, until you get better with sarging. That was used on the VH-1 show, as was the "guy's name" insult. I think more times than not, you're going to be called on it. |

It's not a problem to use routines from the show because I'm from Greece and show it's not known here. |

| Do yourself a favor and try not to swear when you are sarging unless the story doesn't work without it. I'm sure you saw that line used on the VH1 show and when he swore the girls tossed him after the second time he swore. It is better to keep yourself as likeable to as many people as possible by avoiding things that certain types of people will disqualify you for, like smoking, doing drugs, swearing unless you have reached the point where you know how those things will affect your sets. |
