OK, first off I know this question may have been asked already, in fact it probably has, because I think I remember reading it but I can't remember where it was and I can't find it again using the search function, and I'm too busy to search through all the archives.
OK, now obviously eye-contact is the precursor to an approach. Eye-contact, a warm smile and then an approach with no hesitation, right? But what if you can never get eye-contact? No-one is ever looking at me, and when I see someone attractive I can never make eye-contact because they never seem to want to look at me.
It's not that I'm unattractive, either, because I am reasonably attractive. I just can't get eye-contact, and so can't really approach. Any suggestions, or links to the similar question? |

Go over to your targets group and say "hi" with a loud voice. Then they will look at you. Then go into your opener since you've got the attention you need.
Eye contact isn't necessary before opening. Once you get their attention with the loud "hi" you can make eye contact. |

My Wing thought this too! Best thing to do is keep the 3 second rule, "as soon as YOU see Them you open them, regardless of if they saw you or not." Then run your opener like a champ. I don't typically use that much eye contact in A1, I like to use a little the look away, since my body isn't facing them, DHV. I look away periodically like I'm looking for my friends and I'm half bored. Then as the set hooks I give more eye contact which is a low end IOI back to the group.
*Note when making eye contact pick one eye and stare it it. Don't try to stare at both eyes, it's physically impossible, and it makes your eyes shift. Girls don't like guys with shifty eyes.*

| Approch the HB not facing her but like shoulder to shoulder then ask her for her opinion then just start stacking once the ice is broken then she will hold eye contact with you cause your a funny guy and interesting, good luck. |

Eye Contact
Respect the three second rule... absolutely... but what if you are across the room from her in a restaruant, a store, a poolhall... and you are with your crew?
Look directly at her... keep the eye contact, she will instinctly look away... dont panic... this is what she is supposed to do, but pay close attention to wear she looks... if she looks up she is brushing you off... if she looks right/left she is unsure about you.... if she looks down and away... you are in....
Now if she looks down and away... instinctly she will within in 30-45 seconds look back at you... when she does make direct eye contact, give her a smile... 80% of the time giving a smile be reciprocated by the HB giving you a smile back...
Now I hope you werent just staring..bc now is when you excuse your self from whatever you were doing and approach the HB... and like i said if you were already planning and not merely staring you have had plenty of time to decide on your open. |
