then: back in high school i was a complete introvert and quite nerdy. I never even bothered lookin at girls cuz i was too shy, yet i always had HB7-HB9's hitting on me, trying to open me up or blatantly telling me they liked me and wanted to go out. One HB9 just said "i wanna hook up" and a different HB9 grabbed my junk and said "i wanna fock"
now: in college this has changed alot. I got nothing for the first semester of freshman yr. even in junior yr, i still have slight AA but am a RAFC. i have to work for what used to come easily. Theres still the occasional HB8/9 that offers to romp around but those r most likely fools mates. Whats really changed is despite the improved game, noone comes out and says they like me nemore. The closest thing was when a girl's friend said, "My friends kinda interested in you. i think you guys should go out you'd make a cute couple."
I know looks matter a little for initial attraction but i dont think i was good looking in hs and not any better now. Ive only had 2 HB7's come up to me this yr and tell me im cute but it was in a bar and they were prolly scamming for drinks.
Feel free to analyze. Why is that HB flocked in hs but don't in college? |

People act in very different ways in different areas. I'm guessing you moved out of state for college? It's all about what people are exposed to and it varies greatly geographically.
So to answer your question, AFCs, quite literally, get lucky. |

yea from ny/nj to baltimore.
but i mean back then it was getting lucky once a month. now im still a rafc but i got out alot more and meet new ppl but am still only getting a #/k close once a month.
guess its the whole maturity thing also girls r more prone to hormone swings and school girl crushes. and if i dun f or k close within 2 meetings they usually turn out to be a little more serious. |

Welcome to the mid-atlantic.
"Northern girls" are known to go after what they want, when they want. I don't think the north is a sexually repressed as the south/mid-atlantic is either.
I've found that you have to be the man in this area(I'm from VA, a few hours from Baltimore). Girls rarely, if ever, will approach you, because that isn't the culture around here. On the positive side, girls from around here do make eye contact and are not shy about showing IOIs.
That being said, girls are really friendly once you approach. |

For me, a lot of the PUA stuff came naturally and I didn't know it. especially negging. I just did not have to put even a second thought into it. However, that was true of girls that were interested in me first... during this time I never had really "Chosen" girls on purpose... they bit my hook and I just reeled them in. One of these turned into a very awesome LTR (see my oneitis threads)
Since I've started learning, all that natural stuff has become conscious and thus I fuck up a lot. This same "consciousness" has spread to my whole perception of life and I think kind of contributes to depression. I just hope that once I perfect everything, I will be just as good as before and then some - I will have the ability to "chose" if I so desire. |

Did you live in the same area for awhile? Girls are the same everywhere and the only thing that changes is yourself. How many people did you know when you went to new school?
Did you feel insecure? This feeling is noticed, as well as the opposite, confidence. I know you have dismissed this because of you not looking at girls, but this alone does not indicate lack of confidence. How did you act when you were around people you knew? Were these random girls that you did not know that came up to you, or were they people that you already knew? |

yea i lived in nj for 8 yrs and was very insecure cuz i had no friends. but still managed to pull. i guess after such a long time ppl finally notice wallflowers and try to open them up.
ive lived in baltimore for 3 yrs now and yea i started out very insecure also because i had no friends. im pretty secure now and have enough friends to feel like i actually am the life of the party. im constantly introducing people to each other.

i think its definitely the concious vs subconcious coupled with the weight gain from freshman yr. i used to have a slim build (picture bj penn)but i have a huge muscular frame and a gut to go with it. picture a jacked bhudda. Ill just keep working on my game and try to get out of my own head. |

| high school girls are young they arent afraid to go up to guys to express the way they feel. some of em may think u are the hottest guy they ever saw one day than froget u exist the next. IMHO if a random girl has the guts to grab and say that, it shows that she is messing with you. they are to put it plain immature. i think that in college, girls are more reserved when it comes to telling guys that they like them. they dont wanna come off as sluts, so they arent as direct. u should go out and pursue, instead of sitting back and waiting for a girl to come to u. |

I suppose an AFC can pull by complete accident. Say a girl is drunk and gives loads of shit tests. The AFC may conveniently have had a bad day and cannot be fucked with answering questions and appear alpha-male, Maybe an AFC with a small penis was embarrassed so DIDN'T actually want to get laid so did everything in their power to try and not get laid, which gets them laid 
Also, the AFC doesn't want to sleep with the girl because its his best mates girlfriend, so appears alpha-male as he doesn't want to sleep with her, she could read this as him being patient.
A girl could be looking for the next bloke that comes along as she is on the rebound.
A girl could be high on drugs. eg. ecstacy, cocaine. (this could cause her to see an AFC as "cute" or sexy)
100& luck that the AFC didn't have a opportunity to open his mouth. |

Girls are just shy here. They make up for it somewhat by being friendly.
That's why a decent game is so important.
When I run into a northern chick, I often find they try to open me. Southern chicks almost never do this. They just lack confidence. It's changing somewhat, and in certain areas with higher education levels it can be different (big cities, college towns, etc..).
The reason is quite simple. For years it was considered extremely socially 'DLV' for girls to openly show interest in men. You know, the whole slutty thing. Still is in some locales. Girls are raised with an incredible ASD, and economics and religion have been used for years to control them. It also had a lot to do with the rural nature of the south. For years many higher status girls would not date or screw outside their own social circles at all for fear of repercussions from the group. Others migrate to large cities where there's a larger degree of anonymity and promiscuity outside of marriage is more acceptable.
This is of course changing, but slowly.
Here, read this. The secret society has existed in the south for along time. It sometimes takes a different skill set, and the knowledge of how to be discreet but still get the message across. And of course the ability escalate under the same circumstances. This is especially true if you're an older guy getting with younger chicks, or already in a socially accepted relationship.

| I think you guys are looking the wrong direction on this one. We all remember the concept of the J-curve. When you start your PUA journey your level of game decreases while you learn to make your inner and outter game congruent. If you persist in your PUA endevours you'll reach the point where they finally do become congruent, and your ability skyrockets! |
