Now i understand that in the process of getting a HB10 that you need to show social proof thus DHVing. But once inside a set how do u DHV subtley without looking like a try-hard or just a general show off. I understand the concept behind it but im not sure how to put it into practice.
Heres an example of the way i have interpreted it. Please let me know if this is right or wrong......
PUA:....."speaking of my friend she showed me this really cool personality test when were out looking for those godforsaken shoes"
(having already mentioned through trasitional observation that one member of the set is wearing the exact same shoes your female friend dragged you round the shops for 4 hours looking for. Only to find that the last pair had been sold)......
(go into NLP personality game, getting the entire group involved while negging your target and creating a good relationship with all the obstacles)
Then go into a story that continues the thread onto a different subject...YOU....Tell them what your answers were and how that shows various things about your personality....for example:
PUA: My colour was red because it is passionate, dark and unpredictable, but my animal was a dog because they are loyal, protective and dependable. Isn't it funny how the way you see yourself (represented by the colour) and the way you think others see you (animal) can actually conflict a little when in actual fact they all make who you are. I find that mind blowing because i am actually an unpredictable person but im very loyal. And im sure that you (HB) are both energetic and calming...dont you find that really interesting...................
Please let me know if this basic idea i have put before you shows DHVing in the way that it it should?? |

wow - this sounds far to complex.
Where is the part where you are just out having fun, being outside your head, not giving a fuck about other peoples reaction, not looking for IOIs, not making sure that your body is at a 45 degree angle to your target and 12.3 degrees from the AMOG, making sure you have negged the HB 3 times, and she has given you the look of 'i can't believe you just said that' another 2 times, and you have told your 5 DHV stories with spikes, and havent DLVed.
Seriously though - the point of going out is to have fun, and meeting people should be fun as well. If you are walking around with a script in your head you can never be fully in the moment, most likely you will come off as some weird guy, because you are acting incongruent, and you have the same conversation 5 times a night because you are running a script - eventually you will get bored with the same conversation for the 10th time this week, and will not be having any fun - eventually you will see going out as a chore, and post on this or any other board wondering why you are not being successful, as you are doing all of the above!
Am I saying to give up all routines? no, of course not, they can be useful, but I only ever use about two, and they are mysterys kiss close technique, and a little game, mostly fuck, marry, kill. And I have used these routines so much that I am completely congruent with them. The rest of the conversation is completely uncanned, natural conversation. I hardly ever have the same conversation twice, and don't get fed up with going out, or viewing it as a chore, because I know that tonight I am going to meet someone incredible! |

Fuck, Marry, Kill??
Simple game where you pick out 3 guys and she has to say which one she would fuck, which one she would marry and which one she would kill. Then get her to do it on you - she picks 3 women, and you do the same. You can then say after - now show me something interesting, or a cool game.
The thing to do when picking 3 guys, is to pick out 3 guys that make you look like the best guy in the bar! It is a cool game!
