Whats up guys? Just joined the site and want to introduce myself. I just found out about this beautiful world of the PUA. I had heard about the book " The Game " but I haven't read it. I'm thinkin about buying it in the next couple days. Just saw the show with mystery on VH1, now I'm hooked!!

I'm 28, live in the OC and the place is crawling with HB's with fake tits. We have a lot of talent here. All 8's, 9's, and 10's. For an AFC like myself it seems like a curse. Everyone here has money (or pretends to) and I (who don't have much) feel like I'm at a disadvantage from the start. I feel like most HB's or women in general, want a guy with money to pay for everything. Then eventually marry them and live the fairytale life, and thats not me.

The guy on the show said that looks don't matter, and I think I'm an average looking guy (not as bad as the guys on the show), but still stuck in AFC land. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF IT!! I want it to change. I have been reading the forum and taking notes. I want to be a PUA!! Any advice you could give a newbie like me would be greatly appriciated. I'll be around trying to pick your guys' brains.

No...but PUA's don't like people who can't even scan the forums for info on their own...If you ask a more specific question I would be willing to help. Oh, and as long as your game is super fly...money doesn't matter. So anyway like Rice said...go out there and start sarging

Q, you're very defensive right from the get go.

Everyone is here to help each other - take the advice they give you as valuable and learn from it. Nobody's trying to attack you, but at the same time people will stop helping you if you react negatively to every piece of constructive criticism offered. Also, nobody here wants to spoon feed you. We're happy to answer questions, but we expect you to go out there and do some googling on things before you come and ask us.

That said..

- It's important to put what you read into action. Try and make sure you are always reading at least one book on PU, or related disciplines (body language, psychology, etc.), but also make sure you are regularly going out and using the things you're learning

- Join a local lair.. there should be one listed in the Lair List (google it)

- money doesn't matter. In fact, having no money makes you different to everyone else she meets.

- If they all have surgery down to improve their looks it means they have low self-worth. Use that.

Maybe I was a little defensive. I'm not here to make enemies. Just need some advice. I'm trying to make friends here. This was the introduce yourself thread and I was just putting my situation out there, and then asked if PUA's don't like helping the newbies. No big deal.

Thanks for the advice Dex. I'm about half way through reading "the game". Trying to learn everything I can.

I live in the OC as well, and I am trying to develop my game too. This "Game" book, where can I find it?
