Ok so I was chatting to this girl, I almost had her but her boyfriend pretty much flipped at the idea of meeting me. However she recommended me to her best friend. I've been talking to her best friend for 2 days now, it's going well HOWEVER this guy has been bad mouthing me to both girls. The original girl is still sticking up for me saying I am actually a good guy and she should ignore her boyfriend.
I think I've wormed my way out of that situation, however whenever I try talk to this new girl she tries to grab some form of attention from me.
For example she didn't text back earlier, then replied saying "Sorry was in hospital"
I said: "Everything ok?"
She said: "Yeah gave me a scare, but everthings fine"
I said: "Good I'm glad." (Knowing she wanted me to ask what the issue was)
She said: "Thought I was going into labour" (Shes 26 wks preg)
I said: "Tad bit early."
She said: "I know, it was Braxton Hicks" (I assume thats a medical term or something, honestly don't care)
I said: "Glad it's nothing, didn't even notice you where gone to be honest. No harm done"

That's been it really, I'm hoping me saying "I didn't notice you where gone" is going to wind her up into wanting me more. Which is the game right?

My main question being, what do I do? I think she's a full on attention seeker. If I give her the attention shes looking for she'll just flake when I ask her out. If I don't I'm worried she'll lose interest.

wait the girls friend is 6 months pregnant,.....and shes seeing guys, very confident girl if so.....shes gonna be one hell of attention seeker.

that being said shes gonna text if shes thinking about you.

but if shes just replying to your texts and your not leaving any space then it could be just chatter
