I am new at being a PUA and have had a couple of bad experiences while approaching women. My worst experience was when I approached a HB at the gym and before I had a chance to get in a word, she made a motion with her arm that pretty much said, "Get the hell out of here."

I'll admit that it was discouraging, and being new at the PUA life, I was ready to question if I was willing to continue. But based on recent successes, I was not going to allow one woman to change my course of life. I can recall reading somewhere that one time a woman actually told Mystery to fuck off while he approached her. If someone with Mystery's skills as a PUA can get that kind of SPAM and still succeed, then that made me realize that it is not so bad to get shot down in such a harsh manner.

Whenever a woman would pull attitude with me, I would take it as a reflection on who I was and take it very personal. It would just eat at me. In order to avoid that feeling, I just wouldn't approach women. As a result, I would be another AFC. Now I know better. Hearing that story from Mystery, and other similar ones, really showed me that it was ok to get treated that way by women and not to take it personal.

Since getting shot down at the gym, I picked up myself, dusted off myself, and got back in the game. I would like to add that it has paid off very well. I am sure there are many new PUAs out there who may at times feel discouraged. In order to help out others, I was wondering if anyone would like to share an experience where they got shot down while approaching a HB.

Since im relatively new to this as well i havn't had a very bad pickup attempt yet except for one...which wasnt actually that bad anyway. It was sort of a shit test around mid-way into conversation where they caught on that my opener was actually fake and was just using it as an excuse to try and hook up with them.

I thought that i was too obvious or that i fucked up my mid-game but then i just realized it was a shit test and carried on. Unless it wasnt a shit test, in which case i need to realize where i fucked up. xD

Yes. Just to encourage you guys. I have had very many bad approaches, crash and burns, general humiliation on my way. I still get it sometimes but you learn to stop caring! This is how you grow. Dont worry, you just need to reduce your recovery period after a rejection from some days to some minutes...

There was that time when I wanted to joke around with the bartender and got the cold shoulder infront of my friends.

And when I wanted to open this HB up but when I said "excuse me" she ignored me and kept on walking.

Also there was this time when we were in the bar, saw this dude making out with two chicks then saw the two chicks make out with each other and me and my wing said to each other were gonna try. To make a long story short the dude got jealous and had security escort us out XD.

Not one of these I took to heart instead used them to my benefit (as openers) and to wreck that persons status (evil I know)

IE: after that chick ignored me and kept walking I opened up another set with "your not uptight are you" them:"no why?" me:"cause I asked that chick over there for directions -points- and she just blew me off before I could say something, the nerve of some people.Then continue on with my routine.

In the bar tenders case after rejection call the next bar tender over use the same opener but order a drink said "your the man" and Tipped his ass so she could see (I know that killed her)
