"Congruence test" is just a way to say "shit test" without swearing so that it's more appropriate for a professional market. That's why companies like RSD always use that term in their audio/video products. They're the same thing. |

| How about EXCUSER? I think about a guy having basic knowledge about picking up, but scared to put it into practice, always making excuses explaining non-approach and thinking out reasons, why he hasn't tried to pick up. |

New to this as well, and didn't really know where to start, so I was jumping into various threads and seeing terms that I didn't have a clue what they meant. I would probably have ended up posting numerous, annoying posts asking what such and such a term was.
I'm pretty excited about getting into this, bcos my success with women was laughable. I know myself that I am a guy worth dating, but I just am not able to present myself in such a way that is appealing to women. I hope this can help me overcome some of my anxiety and just help me develop my all round personality. Its easy to see how this can be applied to other areas of my life.
But this is a must read for all newbies. Actually, I started a thread that was requesting help with a game plan, in terms of where to start off and what areas to look at.
Is there any useful threads that lay out basic, not set-in-stone models for how interaction may pan out, and where the various concepts come into play.
For example, a thread that takes you through the chronological steps of an encounter like: Approaching - Opening - DHV - closing
Literally something for someone starting off, just to know what basics to have, that can then be later expanded on?
Again though, thanks a million of this! |

This reminds of trying to learn pig latin when I was a kid. It was so fun to talk to your friends in code and you really felt like you were part of a club. I definitely will be learning these terms and listening to see if men are using them to describe me and certainly will have fun augmenting them to fit women. He~he!!! Now, please don't take this the wrong way as I meant this post as a positive comment on the language of pick up artist and please before you flame me... I in no way meant and/or was referring to a pig. Geez... so sensitive
Fantastic post. Very well organized and informative. Thank you!!! |

1. ESP
Extra-Sensory-Perception. Often referred to as "The sixth Sense". Often used in conversation when one makes a lucky guess as to what someone is about to say.
M.C. Hammer: I want to-
Patrick Surtain: SLEEP!
M.C. Hammer: Hey! I was just going to say that!
Patrick Surtain: I must have ESP!

I would say this term isn't commonly used in the PUA community, but has obviously been brought up if your asking about it. It can be a great addition to your game, assuming you make the lucky guess of what a woman is going to say. It will give more potential to build a strong connection, if you haven't already. Don't over try ESP though, or else it just might get annoying.
