I also suggest the venusian arts handbook.

The Art of Seduction is pretty good by Robert Greene. Its pretty historical in nature, explains the different seductive characters. Makes numerous references to people in history, Casanova, JFK, Marilyn Monroe, etc..... Pretty decent. $17 at Walden Books.

If I could do it all again, and having read and reviewed for my blog (http://attraction-chronicles.blogspot.com) all products out there, and having met personally, most of the "famous" pickup artists, I would say that you can get (like I was) too much information.
I refer to Stephen Nash's products personally. He was Playboy in the Game and now runs Cutting Edge Image Consulting in NYC. His approach is wholestic. He fixes the problems and addresses the underlying issues of why you even need help with women, and gives you essential social skills that are pretty much held by naturals.

read 1 book at a time span of 1-2 months... it's really dangerous when you get too much information too quickly. you'll be a mess. and i think all of the guys here have been quilty of this. and they can agree that this is not good. me as well =) try to small chunk it the best you can. this will accelerate you're learning curve pretty fast... i allways realize the improvements when i don't touch this shit for a month
but realize that no matter how much you read, it won't teach you as much as going out and just going to talk to women. i'd even go as far as recomending that you stop coming to these sites and just start talking to/picking up without this stuff. that way (probably in the same time as from learning here, if you seriously approach girls) you'd have natural game and an unique style that couldn't be traced to these books. but with this info available, i doubt that will happen.  it's a shame
i seriously don't recommend MM as the thing to start off with (maybe the last). it has seriously the weakest inner game stuff outthere.
i hate canned stuff... after a while using, you'll just really start feeling empty inside, start thinking shit like "would these chicks be attracted to me without these things to say?!" And why use them from the beginning when you can learn natural game in the same time that you become congruent with your whole set of gambits. WHY?!
i stay away from them the best i can... i only have some auto responses as my only "routines". oh and i do use the cube every once in a while, but this is something i want to get rid of.
have strong inner game and you won't need any of the routines!
i'd recommend "without embarrassment" by mike pilinski as the first book.
the best starting block to get the right mind set when dealing with women. take a month or two!
then DYD. take a momth or two.
these two are really the best starting material... SERIOUSLY!!
this is the way mASF sees the start and so do i...
then go what ever way you want.
remember, natural game is really the only true way... |
