What do you think of using:
"Nobody puts baby in a corner!
What movie is that from?" |

It's not bad but....
It's overused. You might get called out on being PUA if you use it. You should find another opener or even better; write your own! |

| dude, I wouldn't even use that opener. to me, it's pretty corny. Just because Simeon has had success with it, doesn't mean that you will. And women will call you out on it immidiately. There's a reason why people say, don't use anything that comes from VH1. Instead of copying material from there, use material that's not on the show or come up with your own. Thats what I always do. |

something good about not living in the US... whenever they say "everybody knows it", I hear "It'll surely work here"
so I'll work it a little and give it a shot in my game |

| Hey I just watched this show, now I know where that line comes from. I cringe at that line, because the girls I am usually after haven't ever seen that movie, and nor have I. I still think its not a common line for this generation of youth there is no way a person watched dirty dancing in my opinion. |

I hate to bash a fellow Tennessean but... I'm 27 and I know the answer. My girlfriend is 22 and she knows it. Dirty Dancing is an 80s movie.
Women love this movie and play it over and over again. It's one of those all time romances. Just like guys that have to watch 80's move Terminator, because it's a classic. Lots of women know that line.
Still, I wouldn't use the opener. Just making a point. |

Maybe it should be changed to
"I'm the king of the world!....what movie is that from?"...
Yeah, I didn't like the opener at all. I wouldn't use a movie opener unless it was within a year of the movie...
I used "take it easy" (in a bad mexican accent) as a way to re-gain control of a conversation. It worked and got them laughing. |

Its pretty solid.
75% of the ladies I open with it knows that its from Dirty Dances and they find it funny. I have number and kiss-closed after using it many times so its not a bad opener. |

I was just about to start a topic on this, because I found the openers used in PUA 2 quite lame and Simeon's was one of the worst I have heard.
I would never use this or any quote from a film as an opener, a bit like the opener where you ask "would you go out with someone called Herman", again I don't see how that works. |
