It happens every time I think of approaching. The little voice in my head kicks in and goes "You don't know shit. You really think this PU stuff could work? WRONG! Just accept you're a loser, go home and touch yourself buddy."
Now, it is getting increasingly weak, and eventually it will go, as the voice that tells me to start fires when I was a kid did. But I don't wanna wait that long.
Tips, advice and abuse all welcome on overcoming this fuckin' annoyance. |

I'll be brutally honest with you dude as there's not much else to say as that was my problem before.
1. stop over-thinking about it
2. stop worrying about failure and what she'll think of you as you'll probably never see her again
3. grow some balls
I took 3 years of hearing this in high school to get finally understand what the hell my friends meant. and all it takes is the balls to take the risk.. read the post about the virgin guy who asked 50 girls outright if they wanted to fuck just to see his odds. that takes balls man |

i used to have the voice...now its all positive but i still got a prob...my stomach freezes right b4 i walk up to them, u know when ur in a rollercoaster...it goes all the way up then out of nowhere it just goes down and u just feel a cold wind passing thru ur stomach...thats what i get :/ for me to get over it(i know this is weird) but i tought of myself as a model, and i actually started feeling better about myself |

Carlos Xuma talks about this in GREAT detail in his book "Dating Black Book".
That voice,is called "LoserBoy".
"LoserBoy",more commonly known as the logical,protective part of your brain that senses danger,keeps telling you everything negative to keep you from achieving your goals.
This is good,and bad.It's good when you're deciding whether to jump in front of a train or not.Obviously,you're brain will tell you not to do it,as the consequences are horrendous(See "Hostel").
Unfortunately,that same part of the brain kicks in with women.You think "No,I'm not good enough to do this.She's outta my league.I think I'll go watch Butt-Fucking Love vol.18 back at home".
...well,obviously jumping in front of a train and talking to women are 2 totally different things.One kills you,the other causes some to kill themselves. xD
Naw,for real,the only answer I can give you,is to keep at it Negsta.Persistence is,unfortunately,the only cure for these situations.
With enough persistance,you wont even acknowledge that LoserBoy's there,and you'll kick serious ass.

You need to emotionally distance yourself a little from your interactions. I forget what the term is that the PUGs like to say, but you need to walk up to a set not giving two shits what the outcome will be. Walk up to sets fully intending to NOT get their phone #'s, NOT hook up with them, etc...
The change of attitude will help you out, and it will turn what is no doubt a miserable exhausting experience into something fun! |

One strategy is to realize you have two inner selves. A higher and a lower. When that annoying voice comes in just register it as coming from your lower self. When you do this, you know it is not your whole self talking, but just your loser part of yourself. Knowing that, you will pay it no attention and it will subside. You may even strengthen your resolve to approach the ladies to proove you are acting in the interests of your higher self. So, in effect, you would be using your lower self's powers against him.  |
