Ever go out alone?

I'm at a party school and since I was in a relationship for so long didn't get out as much as I would have liked. I've got some friends but none are wingmen material, or at least they're not up for it, worried about school and different shit. So I need new friends... so I'm working on that.

But I was wondering about going out alone, for the time being... thoughts?

Going out alone is sometimes better than going with a wing. As long as you get out there. What's better? Sitting at home doing nothing, or going out solo and gaining field experience?

Go out alone, but remember that things change when you don't have a wing. First of all, you have to open sets immediately because you can't talk to your wing in between. Just keep forwards/backwards merging until you have a while entourage of people. Get lots of phone numbers (guys and girls) so you have many people to call when you feel like going out. Walking into a bar with a pivot makes all the sets open. Walking in with two pivots makes people open YOU.

DO go out alone, use it for faster transition between sets. Simply jump across the room, it gives you more social proof than doing the same with a wing. Wing is a great thing, spots mistakes and entertains the set, while you game the target. Also, when you leave for a moment, set starts to talk about you. And wing hears it and can pass it to you Arrow so you know about your outer game from another view.

But you can work out without wing. It gives you more practice - and confidence.

Carpe Diem.
