Ok so my group sets have been going well but today I hit the mall, and blanked out at a 1 set, she was standing outside waiting, HB9 extremely short miniskirt alot of makeup very prissy ect, I was gonna say like "Oh did your friends ditch you?" but I mean u show intrest right away talking to her i think I dunno how u really approach onesets anymore lol and I use to think onesets were the easiest when i was an AFC.

i like that opener, its like fitting a neg in with your opener so your not showing as much interest, smooth dude!

in the uk i find things like that dont work aswel because you get some very arrogant people who would rather tell you where to shove it than talk to you. so a different approach it sometimes needed, your required to judge a book by its cover and make a decision on whether a neg in your opener is gunna work

but it sounds like a good one to me!

I think it was a very good opener. Allthough if you don't wanna reveal the fact that you're intrested you could go something like: "Mind if I stand here with you for a while, I'm waiting for someone."

or after you have used that opener give a quick false time constraint like i have to meet my friends at the food court in a minute but............then run your routine. but i do like the opener and i will be testing it on the streets of manchester one day soon!

im still kinda lost if i did open id prolly hit up c vs us cause shed smile and make small talk after my opener than do the handshake routine, but I dont know really wat DHV routines i could have done, maybe a DHV story, and how to numberclose smoothly I would have prolly said it was a pleasure talking to u we shud continue this and do the two piece of paper tear thing from style but iunno.

what book so i can buy it?

Ive bought David Ds stuff and he shows alot of intrest juggler kinda of has a good structure but i think ive fallen so hard for Mystery Method and Annhilation i've only incorated David D cocky lines and stuff, maybe I need to go back over jugglers stuff, but hes stuff is kinda really basic, open with something, ask whos shes with, SOI, neg i think, he doesnt suggest alot of routines and just leaves u to close some how. iunno

I find with one-sets its almost vital you dont over neg. One is enough, shes already feeling a little timid with the fact shes alone and talking to a complete stranger, even if he seems really cool and friendly.

I believe the reason negs work so well in groups is that she feels that the ridicule is coming from her friends when they giggle at your neg, so its not too bad it just teasing. But in a oneset its coming strait from you, a stranger and shes got noone around to back her up. I rarely use negs on singles.

My field-tested and one of my favourite openers is: FOR DAY TIME!
BEST IN SHOPPING CENTRES.

(Grab two neclesses, quite different from each other)

"Hey, quick question, i need an opinion from someone who knows whats up with fashion. This one (make a really stupid pose with it on) or this one? (repeat stupid pose)."

Same thing with sunglasses, hats, shirts (in a shop)

Then go on about how you and your friend are out shopping and you dont trust HER (not the target your friend) fashion sense. Go on about how you dont wana get too gayed out by her (Friend). (if she reacts negatively to what they may view as homophobic words, proceed to be like "A little gay is good! im just saying i dont wana end up a total diva like my Uncle!") Then mention something about your fashion buddy wearing her 'Bitch boots' today and sheill be looking for you [FTC].

Enjoy, and dont kill this opener i really love it. Its not exactly orginal i know, but it works and thats all i need.

There's no reason to put on a pair of leather pants, crank the up the amplifiers to 10, and dazzle an audience-of-one with a pyrotechnic display. When approaching a group in a loud flashy nightclub, bust out the big routines. When day approaching single women in a mall, by all means use Juggler's method. The more naturally you come across, the more likely she is to respond positively in that setting. Avoid the theatrics.

yea the opener works well because there was a neg embedded in there. showing interest is alright because its like you are offsetting it with the neg
