Gaming the guys in the group.

What are some of the techniques you use to win over the guys and befriend/disarm them?

One of my sticking points is that sometimes i go into a set where the guys outnumber the girls. I run my chick-crack routines but the guys don't really respond well to it.

The only one that works is the 'did you see the fight across the street opener'. guys dig fights.

what do YOU do?

I find this works well:

"Hey mate, do you goto my gym?"

and talk about gym stuff even though they don't

I think the very first thing you gotta do is disarm the guys! When i walk into a set where there are guys.. I dont even pay attention to the girls. Eventually after 2 or 3 minutes bring the girls into the conversation and start gaming them.

As for what to say.. YOU'RE A GUY!! you say GUY stuff! .. you know, all that manly stuff! .. Sport, Drinking, Girls etc etc etc.. Good Luck

Try to relate as best as you can with them. Get on their level then once you've gained acceptance DHV. This then puts you above them and at that point you can start gaming the females once you have the male's approval.

Absolutely. Make it clear to them as soon as possible you are not competition. Most guys, esp. cool, confident guys, have no trouble welcoming another cool guy in, because it makes everyone's lives better.

And if he's insecure and battling to keep the attention of a girl, the best way to show her that you are a better man is to always keep your cool and never engage in any kind of competition.

Take Mystery's advice "Guys are just ugly girls". Use c&f and dhv. Doing this to girls will build attraction. Doing the same stuff to guys will make you the AMOG (which girls will also find attractive).

I personally like Styles advice: game them the exact opposite way you'd game a girl. So where they're from, name, what they're drinking etc.

The best way I've found to disarm a guy is to offer your hand in a manly handshake...don't try to armwrestle him. just shake hands say hi. Any guy that won't accept a handshake is a chode anyway. If he doesn't shake your hand crush him in DLV's and introduce yourself to the females...ask them what's his problem...in a C&F way. or just keep it moving. no target is worth too much effort I say.

Mixed sets will usually open with just a simple "hi" directed towards the other males, but you need something to follow up with. My tactic (and it's gold) is to complement the one of the guy's shirts and go into a story.

"Ah fuck dude, that is a cool shirt. I used to have almost that exact same one, but I lost it! Okay, get this, I was dating this girl Crystal for a while. It was just a casual thing, but she was really into me. So anyway, one night she comes over after we were out and says she wants to sleep in the shirt I was wearing because it smelled like me. So I give her the shirt for the night and she ends up taking it the next day! I found out that she was actually moving in a couple days and wanted the shirt as a souvenir or something. Just like a woman, right? You didn't happen to get your shirt from a girl named Crystal, did you?"

I always wondered that same thing.. But I guess just talk to them like you've known them for years. That usually works best.

How do you transition from gaming the guys to the girls? Do you just run a new opener on them? Or what?

You can just treat the guys like an obstacle. You just have to win a male obstacle over a little differently than you would a female obstacle. While you're talking to the guys, you can neg the target and then just transition normally.
