Hey Guys,

Im new to the pickup/seduction scene. Ive been reading bits and pieces from blogs and sites but where do start? I was thinking about getting Neil Straus's The Game book.

Any tips would be great.

Hey Daryl,

Good question! And it’s great you’ve joined this FREE forum!

Although Strauss' book is not a pick-up guide or reference book it does provide some tips and tactics. Plus it’s a good read and will provide a solid background from which to start building your pick-up and seduction skills.

I’m currently working on a series of posts for complete newbies (AFCs). These posts will detail exercises – I’ve personally done – to help build confidence while approaching and chatting to girls.

Shouldn’t be too long before they are ready.

Any more questions, just fire away! We’ll do our best to answer them.

If you're new to the game, buy the DYD stuff. It's good to fix your inner game. Whithout inner game, it doesn't matter how many openers and routines you have. YOU WILL GET NOTHING. (that sounds like a sales pitch doesn't it..?) Mr. Green

Yeah 'The Game' is a good introduction, but won't develop your skill that much. Try finding a PUA company in your area that has private lessons with PUAs and/or hot girls, I'm finding these to be extremely helpful. If you cant find one like that then a bootcamp or seminar could help. I dont know bout where u live, but in toronto eros has cheap personal lessons with HB10s their site is [link]

Hey, I am fairly new too. That book "the game" is what got me into the whole idea that I could actually be successful at picking up hot chicks.
I think the true stuff that these more experienced than I read are the Ross Jeffires stuff and the "Layguide" by Tony Clink. In "the game" Neil Strauss makes reference to the "Layguide". That's how HE got started. :^)

I have been in the game and getting HB's for many years. The best thing that I have taught myself is:

DO NOT APPEAR DESPERATE! As simple as that sounds, it is soooo true.

Women can smell desperation like an animal smells fear. You have to carry yourself like you can have pick of the litter.

With some practice, this will also become standard in other areas of your life.

dont forget that practice makes perfect. Dont just research and not use it. Everytime you think of a new opener or technique or hear about something different go out and try it.... become a master of what you already know
