this is a situation that my friend Chris is in. he has been dating this girl for about 6 mos and he really likes her. and then she tells him that she makes out with girls all the time. he's not really sure how he feels about it. on one hand, he thinks its hot, but on the other, he fears that he can't satisfy her and that they will never get more serious. my opinion, I think she should have been more upfront with him from the beginning. i'm big on honesty. if you establish the relationship as casual then its fine.

It looks like you did a good job on the opener and opinion. I don't know personally how to get past the situation of her not having AIM. If she doesn't then I try my luck at gaming her over messages and comments and try for a number close when appropriate. Or I simply move on to the next HB.
You did good job though on the new opener and on hooking her to continue conversation. |

i think you played it off well man, but honestly that's one of the things i don't like about the "opinion on my friend's situation" opener...sure they respond and give their opinion but it takes the focus almost completely off of you and her.
i can't say i've used it too many times, but in my opinion you should just shrug off the no AIM thing and try to spark a new topic with her that can bring in a little bit more playfulness between you and her. that's the positive of your opener...at least you've had good contact with her, so you trying to make conversation with her isn't going to be out of nowhere.

Yeah, write her again about something completely different. Like "I was looking out my window here at work (I always sneak off a bit after lunch for private surfing, but shh, don't tell my boss lol) and I just saw some crazy german tourists triple parking their van right under my nose. You'd think they learn the traffic rules before coming here, but no lol"
Let her in on some little conspiration or something.. bond further with her.  And try show her more clearly that you are interested in her personal life. |
