| "If you aren't alpha, you are appeasing alpha." Great quote from 'I can read you like a book' by Gregory Harley. The book is low on the list for the PUA but thought it was interesting thought. Alpha's are celebrities, politicians, our bosses, teachers, etc. Your body language reflects the social norms as dictated by Alpha's around us, no matter where we are. |

Being comfortable in your own skin influences body language |

| Body Language is the first thing a women 'hears' from you. If you are comfortable, like Killians said, you will project good body language. But, I know from my own life that ,starting out in the Community people tend not to have great confidence. So, I had to take extreme measures to fix it. I took classes on public speaking. Told my friends to take my smokes every time I leaned in, every time I slouched, etc. But, now that I'm more comfortable in my own skin, it all comes naturally. I wish I could say that I don't lean in anymore, but that is one hard habit to break for me. lol. |

Bah, the whole leaning in things is overrated. If someone is interesting, even I lean in. But if they bore the crap out of me, they're going to have to work for it, that's all. |

Body Language and Tone are quite possibly the 2 most important parts of Pick-Up. It's the canned lines that people need to realize are not as important. People spend way too much time preparing the ultimate opener and not enough on the things that really matter.
Pick-Up = 80% body language
It's what seperates someone with an interesting DHV story from someone interesting with an interesting DHV story.

In theory, you have a great mindset, man. Reward those who entertain you and withhold the reward from those who don't. But when somebody has your interest, don't lean in, but try to mirror her body language instead.
Try this body language experiment next time you're in conversation with a woman: face away from her (in a natural way. Don't look like an idiot who's standing sideways for no reason ) and notice how her body will turn towards you. A non-verbal way of saying, "hey, over here!!!". |

55%, 37%, 8%...
Body language, Voice tonality and last the actual Words you say...
That's the basic operating model for the importance of Body language.
So saying body language doesn't matter... well... that's a bit harsh.
Body language is the first and foremost thing you need to get together if you're ever even going to dream about mastering communication-skills of any kind, (except Online/phone-based stuff)
This stuff is subconscious, so if you have your body-language in good shape, you can get a woman interested even if your words are non sequitur, or way past Dalí in surrealism.
So,
Get control of your Body Language, then get a grip on Voice tonality, and how that works.. then focus on the words.. the final 8 percent. |

I believe this in two ways:
1) With good alpha BL (something I have become very good at) you will feel a lot happier with yourself and feel more confident as well as feeling better about yourself situationally
2) When you feel better about yourself situationally, or more confident and a lot happier about yourself your body language will become more alpha.
My point: Body language works both ways, if you aren't aplha then learn alpha body language and a good frame, and all of a sudden you will be alpha (and vice versa). |

Well said. BL can be faked, but eventually it grows into the core of yourself and affects your nature. There is a huge amount of debate about emotions. Do we feel sad and therefore make a sad face or can a sad face create sad emotions? Well both can happen. I feel the same way about BL. Good BL breads good inner emotions of confidence and self esteem.
With regards to the book..yes it covers all aspects of BL. There are a ton of photos as well. |

Being comfortable in your own skin influences body language | Exactly. Good body language doesnt neccessarily mean you fit a certain formula, it means you are confident, cool, and collected while being yourself. The worst thing anyone can do is try and immitate "alpha body language". Its more mental than anything. Be comfortable with who you are and the body language will follow. |
